I would not recommend assuming for God.
My mother’s cousin was one of the Godliest men we have ever known and he suffered horrifically from a brain tumor which killed him.
I did not like John McCain’s politics, but I am sorry that he is going through this terrible ordeal.
Years ago, I heard John McCain give his testimony about his personal faith in Christ on the 700 Club, so I hope he is prepared for eternity.
My prayers go out to him and his family.

About the same here. He had his children come early after the diagnosis and made them promise not to visit near the end. He knew what was coming. He asked us to pray for a quick passing

Over the years, John McCain has pissed me off more than any other politician. I’m sorry he has brain cancer and feel compassion for his plight, but I absolutely look forward to him being out of power.

Sorry for everyone’s losses here on FR. There have been many. I lost both parents and a sister to lung cancer, my only brother to a heart attack, and my last sister to a stroke. I’m 69, and I’m the last from my immediate family.
In this case, I am ashamed of some of the posters tonight. You make us all look like cruel,smarmy creeps. He is not a favorite of mine,but he deserves my prayers. I just spent a few weeks getting radiation treatments (35),and it makes me very emotional to see some of these hateful posts. These are mean spirited comments that are more reminiscent of democrats,not believers in common decency and faith in a higher being that vote republican.

They managed to cure Jimmy Carter's brain cancer (which had already spread to liver and other organs) using a new immunotherapy treatment. So... perhaps McCain has a decent chance to beat it too... time will tell.
Who was the congressman who was defeated and went back to arizona and worked as a talk show host. He later ran in the primaries against mcCain and was defeated. He was a tremendous conservative. Can’t recall his name.
