And demonstrates how well they maintain military assets/S
Unless, of course, the ‘US kit bag’ was emptied during the Zero Years ...
It doesn’t matter, we spend 5 times as much on our military, therefore there is NOTHING China or Russia can build capable of defeating us. After all, we spend 5 times as much as those countries. 5 times.
(sarcastic imitation of FReepers that want to get into WW3 with our 30 year old military)
Most worrisome is that we don’t have Obama’s Presence to protect us, so we had better resort to armaments.
Those days are long gone. We can't even finish building the F22 Raptor fleet. Our schools are turning out affirmative action "engineers" who are lucky if they're smart enough to make a cup of Keurig coffee.
And all the money that could be used for R&D goes to Obamaphones, EBT, Section 8, and other po'grums.
Well, it only took them 35 years to catch up with our Vertical Lunching System. I wonder if they can launch any missile type from any VLS cell without modification - we can.
Looks to me like the dual band radar is the real upgrade. We have it - just not widely deployed.
If they are anything like the Soviets, the labs could design and make prototypes that were superb; however, when it came time to produce from the factories, nothing but rubbish came out. I once had a walk through an Udaloj class destroyer when it was fairly new, and many things didn’t work as designed and below decks, it really stank. The smell of USN berthing spaces is nothing to write home about, but there seemed to be little or no moving fresh air in the Soviets.
The Sky is FALLING hahaha

Look around you right now.
Start with your computer. It was make in China.
Now look at your microwave. Your sofa. Your iPhone.
Look at your shoes. Your stove. Just about everything you buy every single day.
About the only thing we currently do not import from China, is cars. But we also don’t really export any cars to China, because they demanded we build the factories there in China. So they are building their own market up, and in fact they buy (and make) more cars than we do.
Practically everything we buy, which is manufactured, is make there.
WE need to start to worry about how we build things. The Chinese are doing very well, thank you.
Oh, and airplanes.
We currently ship airplanes there.
The Europeans compete with us in that market. But the Chinese don’t.
Yet...
I’m marking up a point for you, good comment.
I pray you’re overstating things.
