Well that's just silly. I'm sure the location will probably be even more pristine after they leave. I'm sure they'll stay within the boundaries of the law, rules and regs. But, probably stretch the crap out of those boundaries.

A few years ago there was a Rainbow Gathering in rural NorthWest Arkansas. Petty crime spiked along with a number of adolescent runaways.

"...Ryan Nehl, deputy Forest Service supervisor on the Malheur and the agency administrator for the event, planned to take a permit form to organizers at the gathering spot June 21. I dont have a lot of faith they will sign it, Nehl said. In that case, the Forest Service will impose an operational plan for the gathering to follow, and could take action if those conditions are violated... Hippies are the worst possible expression of adult liberal children.
Liberal authorities such as The Park Service (overwhelmingly liberal, in my experience) are the worst possible expression of adults for those children.
Basically...we will tell them there are rules, ask them to sign a paper saying they will follow the rules, and then do nothing if they don't follow the rules.
How about just saying they will close the park to them?

Rancher Loren Stout, who has a federal grazing permit on land adjacent to the event site, was upset, saying the Forest Service would punish ranchers if they ignored permit requirements and tapped a spring for drinking water like the Rainbow Family has done.

There is a Rainbow Farm not too far from here. I used to know the mail carrier that delivered their mail.
He had dozens of funny stories of “those crazy hippies” This was over 20 years ago. Most things wouldn’t seem so shocking today.
He said when they would come out to get the mail they never wore clothes except when it was raining they put on their boots :0)
