The MSM has gone totally crazy in throwing anything against the wall to see if it will stick. They follow the model Gobbles set out for them, in telling a lie over and over again, and loudly, until it become an accepted "fact", rather than "fake news". This effort is to also protect the MSM in an effort to the obscure the collusion that existed, and currently exists among the parties opposed to our Republic and our Constitution.
It also protects them from facing up to the fact that the American voters unquestionably rejected their candidate in 2016, and the fact that they have been losing elections on the state and local levels for a long time.
The only ones they have won in the past are the ones that are Federal elections, where they can concentrate their efforts and create fake ballots. The MSM carries the water for them at all time.
They now are attempting to destroy conservative outlets that they cannot censor, by bringing charges, or outright take overs.
All the smoke and and excrement flinging from the Socialist Left and their Socialist Nazi sympathizers is to protect the criminal enterprise known as the Democrat National Committee.

Remember when President Trump fired Comey, there wasn't leak one until it came across the news...so I think they could be building a case, and knowing just what I know, which is all of what you all know, I would say I wouldn't be surprised...
Is that part of the shooting the other day??? I still say more to that than what we know, Steve was investigating adult and child trafficking, something that the Clintons, Podestas and others are deeply involved in...
But if it hasn't leaked by now, it won't...there are ways to keep things ‘to your vest’ if you want them to be...

I agree, the leaks would happen ... but look at the other things that we don’t know about that suddenly “appear” ... this cuba exec order, Dreamer cancellation, .....they just keep sneaking up on us. And I think that is because they are being “sound proofed”. While the media focuses on Russia Collusion (which now even MadCow and Matthews have debunked), the conservative activity is happening. I wonder how much of this “noise” is an “induced” smoke screen?
Trump only started appointing US Attorneys this week. There is no DOJ to do any investigating at the moment.

Seems Session mentioned in his testimony that a primary reason for Comey getting CANNED is the manner in which he REFUSED to pursue the investigation. Hang on while I go fetch the quote...
Okay, here it is: “...There was a clear view of mine and Rosenstein that we had problems” at the FBI and it was his best judgment that a “fresh start” was the appropriate thing to do.
Comey had proved himself unfit for the job, Sessions said, because when he denied prosecution of Hillary Clinton after the email probe, that was a “usurpation of authority...”

What would it look like if such an investigation was already underway?
Consider this:
1. Sessions and Trump (and Rosenstein and Mueller) have infused the justice department with a serious-as-a-heart-attack “no leaks” policy, with the threat of certain and immediate prison time. Everyone affected know they will set an example when it happens. Therefore, they are not leaking.
2. Comey and his sycophants are (still) planting “anonymous” stories, from outside the justice department, and the msm still plays along. Podesta, Sid Vicious, Lynch, Comey, Brennan, any and all. MSM calls them “officials” but they no longer are.
3. The email stating Lynch made assurances she would shut down the Hillary investigation is real, and Sessions has it. There is another one planted as a diversion that is BS, that has been debunked, but even Comey said recently the real one exists.
4. Comey is under investigation for both leaking and obstruction of justice. He may have been given partial immunity already in exchange for spilling the beans on Lynch. Hence his incriminating-but-not-incriminating remarks recently about Lynch—queasy feeling...not leaking, but showing he has flipped sides—publicly.
5. Rosenstein, Mueller, Sessions, are conducting a tightly held secret investigation. Perhaps assembling a topgun team of hand picked leak-proof patriots. Many may be democrats...
What would all that look like to us? What would it look like if such an investigation was already underway?
EXACTLY what it looks like right now. Complete Silence. Even Trump is out of the loop.
The only hope of the criminal cabal being investigated is that it somehow gets shut down. Like getting rid of Sessions, Mueller, and Rosenstein. While sowing even more fake news and stoking internal food fights, so calls come out from the Republicans to fire them all. Massive amounts of smoke are being blown every day to sow doubts and confuse in a last ditch effort to get everyone to say with the same voice, “Shut it down!”
It would all look to us EXACTLY like what is happening right now.
