Yes and God forbid they should promote family growth policies to solve the population problem. But I guess once you forget you are even a nation it doesn’t matter who lives there. So “Germany” could be filled with Indonesians it’s all the same to them.

There are rising nationalist movements throughout Europe, including Germany. They are fed up with the globalists who are destroying their national identity. These immigrants and refugees are not assimilating. This problem will only grow and will cause increasing civil unrest and violence.

While not being a huge military presence in the NATO lineup, W. Germany did provide us basing options which were valuable given the likely route that a Soviet land invasion might have taken. On balance, it was probably to our advantage to have those facilities available to us. Better that than nothing.

this is actually quite good. If germany thinks they’ll have to go it alone—then they will pony up more for defense. and maybe some guys will figure out how to run that country.
A German friend says Germany can’t make it economically without US bases and civilian jobs. Time for Trump to destroy every base and bring back our troops. With friends like this, we don’t need enemies.
