No, I don’t, but neither do I think they will suddenly have a true republic or democracy. However, I suppose most anything other than what they are enduring now is a certain degree of freedom.

We don't need nukes to take out his nukes. With the USS Michigan in theater, The Vinson with 2 Arleigh Burkes and 1 Ticonderoga, combined carry approximately 370 Tomahawk cruise missiles.
Tomahawks aren't deep penetrators, for that we have B-2's with bunker busters.
Lil Kim doesn't have the radar to pick up the B-2's at a distance. As the B-2's would enter theater, Tomahawks could be launched ahead to clear the SAM sites and the air force, followed minutes later by B-2's hitting the deep sites and everything hitting NKs artillery, to prevent a retaliatory strike on SK.
Russia and China are right there. Lighting off a nuke at their back door will really piss them off.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt— surely you can’t mean “our nuclear.....sub” as in one or any known number. Nothing- absolutely nothing is said about US submarine deployment.... period, or their capabilities in even conventional warfare. The destructive power of a single MIRV’ed missile would destroy much if not all of Nork capabilities, not including the conventional ICBM’s (which should be understood to be indistinguishable on radar or other detection from nuclear missiles- and thus terror inducing indeed, if not capable of “causing” a third party response with nuclear attack. Just one part of the risk.
The very secretiveness of our silent service is a huge asset.
Unless this is brinkmanship... the “dining room” would need to be convertible to a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility or in other words a big Faraday cage “bubble” to prevent any transmission and a completely scanned group of senators with no devices, implants, or microphones. Period. Even doing all that would “transmit” a message.
