There's simply too much fretting over this one item, and it has only been 100 days.

Having attended one Trump rally in person and watched many more, building the wall gets the biggest reaction. And Trump realizes its importance.

President Trump and his top aides applied new pressure Sunday on lawmakers to include money for a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border in a must-pass government funding bill, raising the possibility of a federal government shutdown this week.

In a pair of tweets, Trump attacked Democrats for opposing the wall and insisted that Mexico would pay for it “at a later date,” despite his repeated campaign promises not including that qualifier. And top administration officials appeared on Sunday shows to press for money for the wall, including White House budget director Mick Mulvaney, who said Trump might refuse to sign a spending bill that does not include money for the wall.

Trump tweets on wall today:

The Democrats don't want money from budget going to border wall despite the fact that it will stop drugs and very bad MS 13 gang members.

Eventually, but at a later date so we can get started early, Mexico will be paying, in some form, for the badly needed border wall.

Not exactly. With open primaries, the Dems can cross over and vote for a Repub. Thus linda always wins the primary. SC is a very strong red state. In the general election we have linda against some weak Dem you never heard of. linda wins. BUT, she wins because of the crossover votes in the primary.

SC needs to dump open primaries but there is a bunch of RINO opposition to this is the state legislature. We'll probably have open primaries forever. :(
