It wouldn’t matter much if a judge was “left” or “right” if he had integrity to read the constitution as its written.
The problem is, there isn’t a leftist alive who has that kind of integrity.
Only men and women of good character, who can be trusted to rule based on the text and intent of the written constitution, can be trusted on this court. Beyond that it doesn’t matter much what their political persuasion is.
Let Ginsburg go on her own terms, but make no promises. I suspect this is a Dem operative thing, spreading a story not because its true, but in hopes of making it happen.
