This guy has a globalist behind every tree and has totally left the South Koreans out of any sort of after action scenarios. There is a strong yearn for reunification there.

I see much of the lauded doom and gloom of the power of Saddam, whoops fast forward, Kimmy. Look at the parallels, biggest army, WMD’s out the wazoo, yadda, yadda, yadda.

The reality is there are the totally brain-dead but there is also a lot of people in the labor/prison camps as well who would love nothing more than to dispense a little comeuppance on their tormentors. many others are in self preservation mode.

Cut off the head of the snake and what do you have? That’s right, a dead snake.

Being one who was in the Skunkworks environment before GW1, when all of the discussion was wondering not only if, but when GHWB would launch, I predicted the day and almost the time to within a hour of the start of it. I also told those same people to get ready for some startling stuff because they were going to see things that would make their heads spin. Then the world was publicly introduced to smart bombs and laser guided munitions from anything mechanized in our arsenal.

Just yesterday, it was reported of the successful testing of a laser defensive weapon on the mobile platform of a Stryker that was able to detect and destroy 21 of 23 munition type inbound targets. Just think about that for a moment while considering this is what they “let” us know. Whatever they let us know about, there is other “stuff” out there that has 15-20 years of development that they are not letting anything get into the public domain.

With that said, I do not think it will get to the point of shooting and if it does, it will be limited. I honestly believe they are working the mental game since we know Kimmy is addled in this department but we are setting the necessary resources and public pressures in place that hopefully he has a brain freeze from all the pressure and those from within make the move to change the Kim dynasty.

George Eaton appears to be a young writer, trying to make a name for himself.
I'm not sure if he's the same one of the Relaxation Centre of Queensland, but here's what Wikipedia has on George Eaton (journalist):

My opinion is that he's never been to South Korea and basically is repeating what others have said to him about North Korea, and he has no comprehension of the military situation in that region.

I've got 5 short tours in the ROK randomly from 1985 thru 1995 over 26 + years in USAF Air Traffic Control.
Too man people have little or no idea of what South Korea's military is capable of, and just how closely they mirror the United States' capabilities.

But no matter how you evaluate the situation, you must understand that most of North Korea's military is 'brainwashed' and a lot of the North Korean civilians are "brainwashed'.
So there will be a lot of North Koreans that will be killed.

I believe we have the ability to solve this problem with a MASSIVE preemptive strike.

(We should have wiped out their Parade and all those weapons on display, as well as their top leadership attending that Parade, as well as about a third of their military who were required to be there.)

And I know from personal experience that we're prepared to triple the type attacks on North Korea, that they do to South Korea, and keep up the attack non-stop for at least 3 months.
When I was in South Korea and travelled around on my time off, most of the civilians I spoke to, did not want ro reunify with the North Koreans.
The said that North Korea's infrastructure was in too bad of condition, and that most of the North Koreans were starving.
south Korea didn't want to have the burden of paying to rebuild North Korea, after it fell, and didn't want the burden of feeding and sheltering all the North Korean refugees that would want to come south.
North Korea's winters are very harsh and very cold. No one wants to destroy the civilian population of North Korea, but the way most of the North Korean military bases are laid out, it will be hard to avoid.
Anyone who's seriously interested in this problem can take a close and long look at a satellite map of the North Korean bases.

Once upon a time, I was a war hawk. Now I don’t care how the rest of the world kills each other just so long as they’re not killing Americans.

If we go to war again North Korea, we will lose it the same way we lost Iraq and Afghanistan and for the same reasons. And we’ll lose a lot more troops, to boot.
Trump being in charge doesn’t change a darn thing.

This is an issue for the PRC, and for South Korea. Let them spend the treasure and spill the blood.

Until we toss all the idiotic BS like ‘laws of war’ into the crapper, and just kill the bastards without mercy, we are always going to lose.

If it comes to war—it will be over in 10 days, if not less. I forsee Putin as the one who will arrange for a peace with the new Nork Government after Little Kim shoots himself. But, we will not strike first—and I think the USA is safe but not so Our troops in Korea and Japan. I think the ball will go up on the 29th with a naval attack. Then, a general war. The thing will be over by May 15. One nuke, I believe will be used, before the Occupation of North Korea by China/Russia. When it happens the true horror of the Hermit Kingdom will be exposed when the death camps are liberated.

I looked at an article about that tests.

The 21 of 23 targets were drones, the easiest target to shoot down.

That makes it a little less impressive. But they are looking at a system that can shoot down mortars, artillery, and even cruise missiles.

It is hard to say how long it will be before an attack is made. The issue to look at is the cost of maintaining the 3 aircraft carriers, support ships and hundreds of aircraft on the islands waiting for the attack. If they don’t make an attack within a reasonable amount of time the cost will keep building, and if they leave altogether, it will be considered a waste of money and the experts will feel it will have to be dealt with again in time anyway. It boils down to financial issues and long term strategies.
