My wife as well as being the Mother of our children was the lead nurse for a busy and large FP group.
As a mother, she carried copies of our kids’s birth certificates and their shot records in her purse until they finished high school.
She/we needed those records to enroll them in school every year and the shot records. We had to provide that data when they participated in sports and even the high school choir.
When she asked your question, she was ignored or called a racist. Her reply after showing what she carried around for years, “I’m not a racist. I’m a concerned parent and a RN for the health of my kids and every child in school.”
I doubt if anything has changed in the past 30 years after our kids became adults. One of our DIL’s with kids in highschool still carries copies of their BC’s and shot records in her purse.

The Federal Employees who work for ICE are following the Immigration Laws of the United States of America and doing what they are paid to do.
In fact, President Trump has not signed any additional Immigration Legislation into Law. He has simply signed Executive Actions that restored the ability of Federal Agencies to follow the Laws as written, overturning the roadblocks that his predecessor put into place.
