Reminds me the the “I am prepared to wait for my answer until Hell freezes over” comment spoken by Adali Stevenson.
Assad was democratically elected. It is against US law for us to be there.
Who stands to gain by us blaming Asad and the Russians for a chemical attack?
I find it necessary to post this reminder:
This is bogus. Of course, absolutely no evidence has been provided and this makes zero sense. How does this benefit Assad when the US just said it will be a Syrian issue if he stays or goes. Trump is being dragged into war just like all other Presidents before him. His press conference way very disappointing. He hasn’t been able to develop any sort of relationship with the Russians and now he’s being pushed into a standard foreign policy. Hugely disappointed if he falls for this.
I thought we were pals with the Russians now. At least on FreeRepublic. It’s hard to keep track.
Coordinated horseshit straight out of central casting.
I can't help but notice that America's involvement in the UN seems to be endlessly advocating for Israel.
Do we do anything in the UN besides that? Do we ever advance America's interests in the UN?
Nikki too quikki on the trigger?
Haley was a “moderate” republican Governor who was out of step with her state and often used emotion, over evidence.
Her “power move” was a preachy lib tactic that annoys me and will change nothing except remind Russians that female American politicians are unreliable and overly emotive.
He was uncomfortable.
I have strong reason to believe it was not Assad, and posts here today have indicated that as well.
A better bet is the radical opposition did this themselves, as geopolitical public relations warfare against Assad, particularly now that they are losing and less radical Kurdish-SyrianArabTribes-U.S. coalition is doing better than the more radical “Syrian opposition”.
