You got it rate, Fake Groups
He is a South Carolina Rep. Bob Inglis follower.
“Former South Carolina Rep. Bob Inglis has already paid a price for being out of step with his party. In 2010, amid a Tea Party surge, the Republican lost his congressional seat, attacked for among other things accepting climate science.”
“According to Bob, when the economy crashed, people wanted sympathy and understanding, they didnt have the headspace to listen to solutions or accept challenges. Climate change denialism, he believes, is a symptom of the political age in which opposition to ideas outnumbers ideas themselves. And its true that, back in 2008, the Republican presidential candidate John McCain advocated for action on climate change. Of the current batch of GOP contenders, just one of the 16 does not dispute man-made climate change Bobs fellow South Carolinean Lindsey Graham, currently polling at less than 1%.”
“Bob also observes that fossil fuel interest groups capitalised on anger born of the financial crisis, directing it towards the climate change cause: Some people with some campaign cash picked some well timed campaigns that created a wave on top of the high tide of discontent.
Sadly, sometimes I do need a sarcasm tag. You never know around here....
“Republicans” Who support these groups and the global warming scam need to off themselves to remove their personal blight from the planet.
We need to get some broad based support, to capture the publics imagination So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements and make little mention of any doubts Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest.
- Prof. Stephen Schneider, Stanford Professor of Climatology, lead author of many IPCC reports
Weve got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy.
- Timothy Wirth, President of the UN Foundation
The common enemy of humanity is man. In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of
global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only
through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.
- Club of Rome, premier environmental think-tank, consultants to the United Nations
No matter if the science of global warming is all phony climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.
- Christine Stewart, former Canadian Minister of the Environment
The data doesnt matter. Were not basing our recommendations on the data. Were basing them on the climate models.
- Prof. Chris Folland, Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction and Research
For me, the protection of planet Earth, the survival of all species and sustainability of our ecosystems is more than a mission. It is my religion and my dharma [the path of righteousness].
— Dr. Rajenda Pachauri, Chairman, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
WAKE UP! “Climate change” is a vehicle to impose socialistic government policy. It is a “scientific” excuse to grow government, to constrict liberty, to suppress prosperity, to even deny human existence. In a single word: it is evil.
It’s hard to understand why a carbon tax is suggested when a rain dance would be equally effective (maybe call it a “climate change dance”).
The GOP and DemocRats are all too often different sides of the same coin.
This is way Trump is having such a hard time. The Swamp has Crocs in BOTH parties.
There is NO verifiable proof global warming or cooling is linked to ANYTHING human beings do on a worldwide scale.
This is just another case of the damn crony capitalists in the global warming scam business looking for another teat in government to suck on.
Excellent list of quotes. Thanks!
No actual names of Congress critters are mentioned in the article and nobody here has ever heard of the so-called “Conservative Groups” mentioned in the article. Smells like BS fake news.
It could be. Wouldn’t put it past them.
I wonder if Tucker Carlson has seen this BS article posted on his web-site.
