An absolute win. When are leftists (who are generally the pro-regulators) going to see that THEY are the ones interfering with people’s lives, & unnecessarily so.
This is why I keep zero money in a savings account of any kind. It’s all hard assets: real estate, junk silver, bullets, tools, buildings, etc...

Rent prices too high?
Left prohibits rent above $X/mo, because poor can’t afford high rent.
Market responds by reducing amenities.
Amenities below arbitrary “quality of life” standard?
Left prohibits lack of amenities (broadly speaking), because poor can’t afford to supply own amenities.
Market responds by reducing apartment size, matching high-income/low-needs renters.
Size is “too small”?
Left prohibits apartments under a given size, because poor can’t fit a family of 4+ therein.
Market responds by emptying the buildings, takes real estate loss tax deductions, abandons the property, and goes where allowed to sell what customers can afford.
Would-be renters can’t find any housing?
Left...has, for all practical purposes, made poverty illegal.
The Tiny House Movement is not a movement.
It is merely part of the elite’s overall agenda to control humans. The entire thing is driven from the top down.
It was the elites who framed it as a cool thing, and is simply an update of socialistic thought: “It’s great not having things!”
Living and white privilege areas is very expensive
Ya know, some people actually do like the idea of living in a very small space. Sitting here in my 2500 sq ft home stuffed to the gills with stuff (4000+ books, Christmas decorations taking up more space than an entire Tiny House, more clothes in boxes than closets, etc), I’m quite intrigued with the idea of paring everything down to 5 outfits, a flatscreen TV, futon, notebook computer, and not much more, all in a space the size of a large closet.
Your conspiracy theory is laughable. While there may be some wanting to get humans into tiny no-stuff spaces, many more on the Left are he11-bent on making _not_ having stuff & space illegal.
About five years ago I heard some radio talk-show hosts in Dallas discussing this new trend of micro living. They said the average micro “home” is about 150 square feet, and most are bought by single people with no kids and few friends....
...so, me being a smartie pants, called in to their show and said, “I understand these micro homes are 150 square feet, and owned by single people with no kids and few friends. But, I’m still wondering, is 150 square feet going to be enough for all their Harry Potter collectibles?”

A big part of Agenda 21, the elite’s plan to increase their control of humanity, is to force them into crowded urban centers.
That’s not conspiracy. It is actually a plank in their platform. It is openly discussed in the U.N., and lauded as a noble goal.

It’s great that folks want to live simply and smaller, but that is not the issue at all. The issue is that we are being forced to live more simply, and smaller.

I lived on a Navy ship for a few years, when I was in my early 20's. While I discovered that it's certainly possible to live in small spaces, it's not something to which I would willingly return. It's cute for the first day or two; when you need to take a dump and get away from your living partners (or don't want them to hear it), it's nice to have a "normal" house.
I agree with you though--the message is coming down from somewhere, that "less is more"..."city living in a 750 sq-ft flat is cool!" and that "having experiences is better than having stuff!"
I don't need a 10,000 sq ft house, but I need one larger than 1000 sq ft.
Just watched the video. That is a horrible space, looks more like a cell than anything else. Those people need to contact IKEA for help to make it look and function better. IKEA actually has “rooms” set up in store that could give these government flunkies some inspiration. As it is, it is a knockoff of a Soviet living space.
Is there a UN movement that wants to cram humans into controlled zoo cages? yes.

They probably live there out of necessity. The median price of a house in Sydney is something like $1.3 million so this is probably the cheapest housing around.
