It has gone liberal, but most lean libertarian. Do not tell a NH person what they should do. They won’t like it.
The article makes it sound like govt official were playing games giving out these permits. The only reason you wouldn’t get one is if you were legally not allowed to own a gun and maybe age. Otherwise they have 10 days to get you the permit. This just eliminated the act of getting permission to do what was already legal.
Way cool.
I need to get an easy to conceal firearm. A nice compact Sig Sauer made in NH.
‘Of age’ in Vermont could mean as young as ten years old.
Never happen. No way, no how.

Although there is no concealed carry permit in Vermont, there are requirements that must be met to carry a weapon, openly or concealed. These requirements include:
1.You are at least 16 years of age the legal age to purchase a gun in Vermont and
carry it loaded on your person in a public place.
2.You have gotten permission from a parent or guardian to carry a weapon if you are
under the age of 16. Failure to receive this permission may result in being charged
as a delinquent child by the state of Vermont.
3.You must have a clean record in order to purchase a firearm. Past convictions like
a felony or dishonorable military discharge will show up in a background check and will
prohibit the purchase of a firearm.
I’ve always loved that - can’t drive, vote or drink a beer, but you can pack a pair of pearl handled .45s with a note from Mom.
