The number of self-proclaimed conservative pundits who ignore the fact that Trump is the most conservative leader since Reagan is stunning. I truly wish that Buckley was here to see this because many of his acolytes have formed a brand of neo-conservatism that is anything but conservative. Buckley was pragmatic and I strongly believe he would celebrate what Trump has done in his first month even if he did not initially support him.
