Send the Guard, or the Army, to the border to seal it up tight as a drum. Rounding up terrorists and illegals is too much for law enforcement to get done in a year (assuming we want to get it done in a year, which many do). Therefore, call up the militia (which militiamen exist in the millions), and which Congress is authorized "to provide for calling forth," per the Constitution; namely,

U.S. Const. art. I, § 8, cl. 15.: To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions.

Repel invasions, which the illegal alien invasion qualifies for, and suppress insurrections, one of which the antifa thug insurrection is.

The President of the United States is the Commander in Chief of the Army, the Navy, and the Militia, when the latter has been called up, and I firmly believe it needs to be called up in this instance. They're there for the mobilization. Use them, Mr. President!

You know, Sidebar Mod.... I don’t know if you remember Free Republic’s abortive attempt to start a news channel. It was informal; we were going to use citizen-journalists.

It never really got off the ground, but I almost wonder if this is the time to really try it. There is a huge hole in the mediasphere, the ‘mainstream press’ has taken to outright lying. There is a hole in the news space, where truth and real reporting is a need that could be filled.

Whoever claims this space, this ‘actual news’ space, will become multibillionaires. Fox almost had it, but they fumbled it away.

Great point! I totally forgot about that. In fairness, Fox business is doing yeomen’s work with its truly fair and balance reporting. But I think you’re right — the more competition in the news space, the better.

Oh, and about that: Maybe back in the day, but the channel is mostly anti-Trump these days (two words: Shep Smith... oh, two more: Megan Kelly). The exceptions seem to be an inconsistantly-strong Tucker Carlson, the Fox Business team, and the Fox Five morning show.

Fox is mostly owned by globalist interests and RINOs, with a touch of Saudi influence thrown in there.
