So I tried to be nice, but I see it very different. The whole of scripture supports the position that we are to “turn the other cheek” to physical violence. Jesus modeled this approach when He went to the cross and this was a consistent teaching of His in the New Testament. Ephesians 6 is a clear teaching that we are engaged in a spiritual war, and our enemies are not “flesh and blood”.
If you see it different, so be it.

These people are insufferable. They must think we should be afraid of them or be bullied into their way of thinking. Glad I’m on this side but mostly thankful I know Jesus.
The commieprogs don’t realize that if they “win”, their pet pit bulls will eat them alive.
We already know who wins the battle. But more importantly is that I too was once on the losing side. Praise God I don’t have to be afraid of anything this world throws my way.
Hate - and Lust, Anger and Greed. Many of them are sexual deviants, and keep in mind that two of the most important “platforms” of commieprogs are no boundaries perversion/anything goes sex including lowering age of consent, and abortion.

Not resisting evil is helping it.
Evil people kill, maim, torture, rape, and enslave others. You think they should be tolerated and not fought with? Thus allowing them to cause more suffering to innocent people? That’s a very odd understanding.
That is why they want millions of criminal illegals, millions of moslems and gangs roaming all over the place to create the violence and havoc they aren’t able to create themselves. Why do they just love criminals and want them out on the street killing cops?
They see themselves as the elite leaders of their shock troops who do the actual violence. Some no doubt like violence; look at Berkeley.
They think they can harness the moslems, illegals, gangs and criminals. They have no idea how wrong they are.

They have no idea how patient we have been with them for all these years. I see them sharing this article on Facebook now and saying how much they hate us for saying that they hate us. They’re so incredibly un-self-aware.
What is so difficult about “protect oneself” (and family)
that you object too? Yes, sword can have multiple meanings. Don’t get stuck on just one or the other.
I had a pastor once who chastised me a bit for buying a little extra ammo. He said he would probably let them shoot him. I asked, what about your family and grand kids? He said he hadn’t thought about that..........................

You and I never had any illusions as to the nature of our opponents. Or what’s going to be required of us.
There is nothing about “protecting oneself” that is difficult, from a worldly perspective at least. What is difficult is how to live Biblically given these very thorny issues. Many early Christians were not willing to fight back and they were slaughtered by the Romans in a most gruesome and painful way, but the love of Christ eventually won out.
The other thing that we see is the idea of “protecting oneself” often morphs into aggressive behavior which makes matters worse.
