That prank the media fell for was hilarious.

Those prank names were pronounced with the usual, lip-smackingly ostentatious “correctness,” too, which made it even more amusing, almost as amusing as the blank looks of barely disguised horror that gradually arose as a few figured out that it was BS.

Oh the stench on this deal.

The lawmakers say Norwegian is “Norwegian” only in name. “Its crews work under short-term contracts, many governed under Singapore law; some crewmembers are based in Bangkok; and the company is organised and regulated in Ireland, ” the letter states. It also describes the Republic as a country whose laws permit “forum-shopping” for the cheapest labour.

The politicians’ claims echo similar protests by aviation unions on both sides of the Atlantic, including the Irish Airline Pilots’ Association, and the carrier’s rivals, made to the department of transportation before it gave Norwegian permission to fly to the US.

However, both the airline and its Scandinavian parent, Norwegian Air Shuttle, have denied these claims and stated that crews on its transatlantic flight will be hired under EU or US employment law, not on the Asian contracts that opponents claimed it intended using.

This must be one of the many messes that King Barry left on the White House rugs before he moved out.

““Landings? We don’t need no stinkin’ landings.””

And no Koreans either! Back when the Asiana crash occurred at SFO, there was an article published by a retired UAL pilot who had gone to work for both Asiana and KAL training their pilots. He didn’t last long because he came to the conclusion that these a##holes didn’t really want to know how to fly, but rather just understand how the autopilot worked. So these airlines have a bunch of “high-time” pilots who can’t really fly their planes absent the built-in automation. In the case of the SFO crash, the ILS was out so these ill-equiped pr!cks were forced to land the plane by actually flying the approach, and they failed. You remember them: HO LEE FUK, WEE TOO LOW, SUM TING WONG, and BANG DING OWE! I mean their names were even put out on the local FOX channel 2 here.

Where are the Free Traitors telling us what a great deal importing inexpensive Muzzie pilots is for us and that if Americans don’t like it they should shut up and learn some advanced skills?

“Foreign pilots what could possibly go wrong ?”

Yet another reason why we can’t let mindless nut jobs like the Democrats back in power.

I support the pilots and legislators . . . but enough of the BS. Singapore Law my @ss! They know that is pure BS. Crewmembers based in Bangkok? Yup . . . some of the cabin crewmembers.

Just say . . . you do not agree with the business model and dispense with the other BS.

The Irish Times proclaims over 100 US legislators call on president-elect to revoke permit when he takes office

They "demand that Mr Trump revoke or suspend the permit until “Norwegian changes its business model to a model that does not rely on a flag of convenience and threaten America’s international aviation industry”

http://www.irishtimes.com/business/transport-and-tourism/trump-urged-to-block-norwegian-air-s-ireland-us-flights-1.2923475

The department of transportation’s order states that the president has 60 days to decide to overturn the decision to grant Norwegian Air International its foreign carrier’s permit.

Mr Trump will be inaugurated on January 20th, allowing him time to reverse the decision, which the department published on December 2nd. The letter calls on the president-elect to act on “day one” of his administration.

No doubt the intended result is that pilots would be hired from Muslim countries. The same countries the 911 pilots originated from. It is transparent that, just like any good, Allah fearing Muslim, Barry’s goal was to see more deaths from terrorism. Hopefully, Trump will see this in time to reverse it before damage is done.

New pilots spend over $100,000 in training

I don't begrudge airline pilots for their salaries since many of them are former Air Force or Naval Air Corps flyers.

As for careers, they're only guaranteed for a year or six months (depending on who they fly for) until their next flight physical............
