Does that mean the son or daughter of US servicemen and women
who are serving abroad cannot be eligible to run if born
abroad? The children of US diplomats born in the country that their parents are stationed?
Years ago the military told wives to return home if they wanted to preserve the natural born status of their children.
Many kids from my generation were told they were not eligible to run for President who were born in Germany or Japan.
Unless born inside an embassy or if the base is on US soil, like Guam, then they are citizens if their parents file CRBAs, but they are not natural born citizens.
