Yea but white Catholics aren’t so I don’t think it’s a Catholicism thing. Probably years of Castro propaganda in LatAm hurt. However, since the Hispanics don’t practice Islam, their view can be fixed, hopefully.
In the late 1960’s, black Marxist radicals led by Stokely Carmichael (aka Kwame Toure, of the All African Peoples Revolutionary Party), Huey Newton (and the Black Panther Party), and Black Communists of the Communist Party USA, started their “anti-Zionism” campaigns, often aided by white radicals/communists and turncoat Jews.
They often falsely claimed that many landlords of substandard buildings were Jewish and thus revived an earlier slur from the Klan and other white hate groups, not to mention the CPUSA.
Today we have Al Sharpton (and his fake party), Rev. Jesse Jackson (whose top advisor, Jack O’Dell, was a CPUSA leader and probable KGB asset, as well as Jackson’s key contact with the PLO and Assad senior), Louis Farrakhan who never met a Jew he liked and his Nation of Islam (I doubt it has a million members; more like half of that, many recruited in prisons); old NY Councilman racist Charles Barron; and black Marxist professors on the campuses who are joining with the Palestinian support/jihadist/BDS groups such as SJP, to spread an ever growing anti-Semitism in our universities, aided by white communist radicals and other black extremists, as well as Moslem students both domestic and foreign.
And what has Obama and Holder and Lynch done to stamp out this blatant, often violent anti-Semitism? Nothing, nada, bupkis, Zero. Trump is going to put an end to that shit.
Oh, by the way, as I have written many times before, it was Nancy Pelosi’s brother, Mayor D’Allesandro of Baltimore, who deliberately let the black rioters and imported thugs burn out the small Jewish businessmen and women in the 1968 riots. I knew some of those people and talked to people who had access to police intelligence on where many of the rioters were coming from.
Never heard Mrs. Fungu say a word about what her brother didn’t do back them. She and my mother were born on the same street, Albermarle St, near the junction of Little Italy and the Jewish blocks of “Corned Beef Row” on Lombard Street (between Central Avenue and Albemarle).
The history of white liberals and their betrayal of Jewish Americans (other than to suck up to them at election time for their votes and money), is one that has yet to be written but it will be a scorcher of a story if it ever sees the light of day.
Now Jewish leftists such as J Street and some of the Reconstructionist rabbis out of Philadelphia are leading the “we’ve got to help the Palestinians get their own state” movement while attacking “Zionism and the settlements” as thought they were “Nazism and ghetto cleansing” forces.
Jewish apologists for black extremists and Marxist agitators included, in the past, Breira and the New Jewish Agenda.

Tend to agree with that. There are studies I've seen that show that antisemitism and anti-Israel feelings among Hispanic Americans tend to decrease with succeeding generations after immigration to the US. Apparently, Catholic churches in Latin America support a more leftist worldview in coordination with the leftist political regimes in Latin America.
La Raza, though not a religious organization, is most notorious in the US for its antisemitic, anti-Israel views, and unfortunately, too many American mainstream politicians have appeared at its events.
