Romney's biggest mistake was not selling the message that it's good to be rich and you too, can be rich as well and I'm going to help you do it through policy.
He couldn't pull that off because
1) Everybody would know he was lying and
2) Neither he or Ryan would have the slightest idea how to do it even if they wanted to...which they didn't.
