Well this is an improvement on the Orwell newspeak operation. Instead of changing the media story to fit the government narrative, the government writes the entire story and the media just slaps their label on the product.
Ha ha! I had no idea. Good catch.
“I bought an issue to go along with my Cleveland Indians 2016 World Series Champions baseball hat.”
Now understand, the Indians actually scored more runs in the World Series, so they won the popular run. We need to do away with these innings and breaks between games, and just go with who got the most runs.
The Cubs have no World Series mandate!
“A lot of trees were needlessly killed to create the almost-but-not quite Madam President commemorative issue.”
Indeed! I bought the ‘Madam President on eBay two days after the election for $130.00, and then the Trump Wins edition for $20.00. My children both watched this election and were very pro-Trump. I will use the ‘Madam President’ as a teaching aid demonstrating media bias and dishonesty.
Coincidentally, people are now paying in excess of $500.00 for the ‘Madam Prsident’ version, of which only 75 were sold prior to being recalled.
“Just bought 2 on ebay.”
I bought the Newsweek ‘Madam President’ and ‘President Trump’ copies, and also, the New York magazine, ‘Loser’ edition with a horrific picture of Trump on the cover.
Incidentally, the Newsweek ‘Madam President’ edition on eBay, the highest ‘buy now’ is set at $2,500.00, and the average purchase price is over $300.00 two weeks out.
Keep hold of that piece of history!
Would love to read the retraction on the story.
Maybe the can store the worth of even the editorial oversight?
