Humorous item from the video at one of the Wisconsin counties.
An absentee vote was sent in. All was proper with it. But a phone call came in (this is apparently NOT unusual) to inform the clerk’s office the voter died after mailing the ballot, but 3 days before Election Day.
They rejected the ballot, after confirming the death of the voter via mortuary out of state.
I was checking the initial spreadsheet and thought I’d calculate the difference between original and noted votes that are without absentee for Milwaukee only. I get the original absentee votes in this county at about 14,910 for Trump, 41,837 for Clinton.
Do you get about the same? If so, even if all the Absentee in Milwaukee went to Clinton, it would still not be enough to change the outcome. Let me know. Thanks,
I have 476 total lines for Milwaukee County.
I have 117 lines for Milwaukee County where there are recounts.
raw figures for all milwaukee county that has recounts.
Trump: -3483
Hillary: -18570
with only 24.5% able to be analyzed, it doesn’t mean much.
day 5 - near as I can figure:
All Milwaukee county still excluded.
All Madison still with no recount counts.
Trump: +85
Hillary:+65
approx. 41%
I get about the same (get Trump at 83, Hillary at 65 but close enough). I did notice there are a number of districts where there were only 1 or 2 votes. Amazing. Thanks,
One thing I did notice is that City of Milwaukee Ward 34 after recount gave Trump an additional 190 votes without Absentee counted. Did they make a mistake in the original tally?
I haven’t been looking at Milwaukee at all.
that sure looks like they whacked the original count.
Yet the vote total for count =839 and recount =808 are close.
what i do is turn filters on, then select “blanks” under recount(col. N) for Trump.
I delete all those.
I then delete Milwaukee county.
Then total the cols. on what’s left.
I’m sure there’s a better way.
I just delete all Milwaukee, then sort changes lowest to highest (negative numbers at top). Sum from first highlighted and delete rows in between that aren’t highlighted. Only takes a few minutes. But I did notice the one ward with the high Trump votes and that isn’t even without the absentee counted. Sure at the end will be within a few hundred of original.
Isn't that the same thing?
day 6
owen has already done a bunch of analysis.

Wisc. has a bunch of revisions because of errors of omission \ commission.
They have a separate document for them all.
This is kinda sad, as they did a post election vote canvass, which amounted to a recount. They screwed it up on election day and they screwed it up on the 1st recoiunt.
I did not include anything from the city of milwuakee
Trump +139
Hillary +142
approx. 58% complete.
My percentages will be understated as they are based on the count lines in the spreadsheet.
It seems to me that the legal teams in Michigan and Pennsylvania should be able to use these statistics to argue that Jill has no support for her allegations. Enough votes have been counted to demonstrate that no one interfered with Wisconsin’s election. Therefore, Jill is simply making unsubstantiated assertions.
I just checked and without Milwaukee, I get:
Trump +141
Clinton +143
So basically, nothing has changed in 6 days. I’ll check tonight to see if they release an update. At least there aren’t major issues.
Would like to know how many absentee ballots exist in Milwaukee so we can determine if there could be any impact if more went to Clinton than before.
I left in Milwaukee County except Milwaukee City.
There are recount counts of Milwaukee City.
I copied the City of Milwaukee only to a new sheet.
I filtered “blanks” in the Trump recount col.N
I deleted all the lines that came back with “blanks”.
I cleared the filter.
I totaled the Trump col. V and Hillary col. X.
This should approximate ballots outstanding and the results scare me a little bit.
Trump: -5146
Hillary: -37421
Let me know if this fits\works.
This all looks legit, guys.
I’m guessing 75% recounted at end of tonight, and based on your findings, maybe 10 votes change statewide.
Day 7 results
Near as I could figure:
approx. 73.% complete based on ballots.
Trump: +410
Hillary: +492
I didn’t use City of Milwaukee - no absentees yet.
Wisc. has nine counties where they gave explanations for the whacked counts
Good job stylin, the WIBOE twitter stream just announced over 70% counted and Hillary +82. No reply yet to email about Milwaukee City Ward 34.
Speaking of which, Milwaukee City says they will be 100% done tonight. County of Milwaukee commits to Friday 100% done.
And in the category of ridiculously honest folk (FYI I am NOT in Wisconsin) a few county clerks of 100% completed counties have said they over budgeted the cost of their effort and are prepared to return the differential money.
Once they finish Milwaukee, then I’ll compare the totals from Election night and totals of those recounted. It will give us a sense of absentee ballots, assuming little changes in actual votes. If less than 22,000, then we can say it should be over with Trump winning.
I just check day 7 from WI and tallied the following, without Milwaukee:
Trump +419
Clinton +497
Difference: Clinton +78
Slight difference from yours, but close enough for now.
WOW probably spent over $3 MM already and nothing really changed. Hopefully, Milwaukee doesn’t find some major “missing” absentee ballots. We’ll see
don’t much care no more.
day 8
83% ballots
No milwaukee city counts.
Hillary up + 61
