A decade ago, Paul Gottfried, a Jewish professor, called for an alternative right seperate from the Beltway Right and PC Libertarians. Richard Spencer created a website called The Alternative Right.
The Left did not invent this term. I've been following them from their conception

No. I mean some are paleo-libertarians. But most intellectual members of the Alternative Right are traditionalists, neo-traditionalists, right wing counter-revolutionaries, and full on White Nationalists. They are joined by anti-PC and anti-feminist trolls.
