Indeed it’s like Apple and Microsoft. Both leftist in orientation. I don’t have a hard and fast rule when it comes to boycotts but I do like to be in formed and make a decision that way. There is no way to research every link in the entire world of business but the info here on FR helps.

I ordered a “Coke” in a pub in Northern Ireland about 10 years ago.

My best guess would be that the employees were crying because of the sudden realization that their jobs are in jeopardy. Because their alien psycho CEO’s ludicrous, hateful statements are causing a boycott of Pepsi products.

Had to learn to read "Beepsee" in Arabic classes since Coke had a factory in Israel and was on the Arab Boycott List. Some things don't change. Pepsi was on the wrong side then and still are. The only brand of theirs I need to drop is the Quaker. My local stores carry authentic Scots oatmeal, so no hay una problema.
