Well, OK, but I’m not too sure that the northern part of the state wants to go, having made overtures to split off fairly recently. The southern part is going to have to find water and electricity somewhere if it decides to secede or it will return to its original state: hot, dry, and unpopulated. But hey, have at it, guys. Why should we cede beautiful California to a bunch of leftists? Give these commies and fascists 24 hours to head for North Korea or the Arctic or rescind all illegal and unconstitutional laws. We have the laws to accomplish this - the 1867-68 Reconstruction Act.

In 2010, eight of the 10 states with the highest population received the most. California, the most populous state in the country, receives the largest share — more than a third of a trillion dollars. Add in another 6 yrs and it’s more.
