There is enough blame in Flint to go around... partisanship is nonsense here... folks failed at ALL LEVELS of government on that one... and if you think otherwise you are just a fool IMHO.

Need to get your facts straight on this... While the city made some bad mistakes.. when it was obvious there were problems and the city tried to go back to buying water...

March 23, 2015 - Flint City Council members vote 7-1 to stop using river water and to reconnect with Detroit. However, state-appointed emergency manager, Jerry Ambrose overrules the vote calling it “incomprehensible” because costs would skyrocket and “water from Detroit is no safer than water from Flint.”

It was a state emergency manager, that refused to let them and kept the lead filled water being the public water source! This lasted for another 7 Months!

October 16, 2015 - The city switches back to Detroit water. Residents are cautioned that it will take weeks for the system to be properly flushed out and there may be lingering issues. The EPA establishes a Flint Safe Drinking Water Task Force.

The failures in Flint cross party lines and its beyond insane ANYONE is trying to play this failure as purely the result of one single group... the entire system across the board broke down, and honestly, those responsible especially once it was undeniable the water was poison and kept it flowing are flat out EVIL individuals.

Tired of this party nonsense blame game on this one.

There is nothing in my original post that can be construed as partisan, unlike Michael Moore’s statement which unequivocally blamed Republicans for the Flint water crisis (as did the local Flint Democrats). Yes, the state compounded the initial failures of the local authorities by not issuing timely permits to allow Flint to reverse course and draw water from Detroit. But how incompetent must the Flint people have been to draw water from a toxic source to begin with? I’ve drilled wells in two states (Virginia and Georgia) for my household water supply, and I can assure you that I would not have been allowed to draw water from them if these wells had tested for toxic levels of lead. So, who are the “fools” in this case?

Yes, Muzzi violence has been suspended in recognition that it only helps the Republicans...
