The Nobel prize can only be awarded to someone who is alive. I don’t know who David Brubeck is/was, but everyone else on your list has passed away.

When Yassir Thats My Baby Arafat, the godfather of modern islamic terrorism, received a Nobel Piece Prize, it marked the final nail in its coffin. It is the Nobel Peace Prize, not the Nobel Piece Prize.
One could argue that Arafat left things in pieces in his wake, but that does not change the fact that the prize is intended to honor peace, not the ability to reduce people and property to pieces.

It is the Nobel Peace Prize, not the Nobel Piece Prize. I used "Piece" as in the islamic Religion of "Piece"

The Byrds cover of My Back Pages is one of my all time favorite songs as is Dylans Like A Rolling Stone. Hell, Dylan should have won a Nobel prize for "Tangled Up In Blue" alone.

yes.
I remember doing a term paper on Bob Dylan. Never really listened to him or realized his full library until then. Been hooked ever since.

Perhaps he does not like to be associated with that other Nobel literature laureate, Winston Churchill?

It seems odd that a person who feels this way about Dylan would post this article. Would like to know who else (Lennon really?) you feel is more accomplished?

It would funny if Trump took over this organization. “The Trump Nobel Prize.” Open televized competition.

Right now I’m into Brubeck, and the more I hear of his recordings, the more I esteem him. I didn’t say that Dylan was a bad artist. Like him or hate him, he was a major songwriter, who influenced those whom I list as as good as or better than him, especially Johnny Cash who performed several of his songs.
