McCain, Ryan and the Bush family sold out to the Dems and the big sponsors, most from other countries. Time to boot them from the GOP! Either you are with us, or against us to use their words and it seems they are against the USA!

It’s patriotic Americans vs. Neocon globalists.

Forget conservative, forget RAT/GOP, Forget all those false dividers.

It’s Us vs. them.

I don’t know about “fair and square,” but he did indeed win the nomination.

‘...those willing to join the fight to protect America from XXXXXXXXXX, and those who, for whatever tortured reason they have fashioned, are unwilling.’

For my money-it’s been like that for a long time now.

It looks to me like “conservatism” has been woefully unprepared for the appearance of a figure like Donald Trump. It can’t reach a solid consensus whether to hate him or love him, perhaps because he seemed like such an unlikely champion.

John McCain, whom I eternally revere for his service to our nation, seems unable to navigate a path to clarity for fear that he cannot save the nation without wounding the women in his life.

Excellent article, spot on. To all the GOPe and nevertrumper's out there: what's your plan? Hmm? What do you see coming out of your efforts if you were successful? President Clinton? If you're ok with that, eff you.

Clinton is the antithesis of everything I want for America. I know Mr. Trump is not an ideal conservative, not an ideal candidate, maybe not even an ideal man or friend. I do not care. Let me repeat that: I do not care that he is not perfect. I'm not looking for the Son to descend from the Heavens and anoint the oval office. I just want someone better than another Clinton, another obama-esque disaster.

When the alternative is Clinton II, Mr. Trump gets a lot of slack, a lot. If you can't support a flawed candidate, you are supporting the other one. If you can't support Mr. Trump, you might as well own up to it: you are helping Clinton, and that is abhorrent.

Dear Mr. Davis,

Protectionism is conservative, free trade is not. The founding fathers were conservative protectionist. You become a useful idiot of the left by pushing "free trade" and calling that conservative.

Signed, An actual conservative.

PS: Because of this the word/label Conservative means nothing.

Trump isn’t a conservative.

However, most of those attacking Trump aren’t either...

He is FOS when he says Trump’s trade policies are not conservative.

Trump is the most Conservative candidate to run for President since Reagan.

Unfortunately "conservatism" as a movement has been hijacked by globalist corporate special interests. A lot of brainwashing by talk fat talk radio hosts has solidified this upside down this position.

Obama, GOPe and Shitlery are free traders; are you?

And yet he appears poised to pull together the most conservative thing that has been seen in US government since Ronald Reagan.

Could it be because his philosophy is deal-based? Conservative is where Donald sees a robust consensus able to form, so that is where Donald heads for.

Funny, there is no mention of Paul Ryan in the op-ed. Next time read the article before you post such BS.
