Damn autocorrect!!! Meant to say irredemable!!
I'm not any more worried now than I was before. Trump support is a movement, one that I think is more or less independent of the GOP. I figured the GOP would sandbag Trump, and I suspect that Priebus' outward support is phony - he knows that the party has certain tools that can be sabotaged as the need arises.
OH WOW!!! Listen to RUSH!!! About the bogus +11 Clinton!!!!!!!
I am about to finally end a long time friendship (knew since 1980’s in college) over the Scott Walker recall election. Yes, this break up has been brewing for many years.
She knew I voted for Scott and was cold to me in subtle ways, and contacted me less and less until we are now at the once a year Christmas card stage. We live only 20 miles apart, no excuse for not seeing eachother other than her snobbery.
My husband found that she was on the list of those who signed the petition to recall Walker (Verify The Recall List).
I never discussed the recall with her, or politics. This is why it is so weird she is so angry about Walker. I wouldn’t hate someone for voting differently than me, especially someone I knew for 30 years.
I have decided recently, that the fake exchange of our one communication of the year, Christmas cards, is ending, at least on my end. She will get the hint after a year or 2 with no reply from me.
She only initials the inside of her card to me. Like it is too much to write her first name. Not even a sentence of greeting per year, just an initial.
Don’t you 2 agree it’s time to end this fake friendship?
I’d welcome your thoughts on this.

I limit may association with lefties to a minimum. I have to many “good” friends and that is all I need.
Here is my advice for what it’s worth: Unless she was someone who truly matters a great deal, I’d let her go. Otherwise, my advice is to invite her to coffee and have a heart to heart because life is short and if friendships can be mended, perhaps they would be closer than before.
Good luck. I’m sorry to hear about this.
My in-laws are ultra-left state union types. You know the type. They know it all, act superior, etc. They have limited the time we spend with them by being so political. They try to pick political fights with us, and I am not interested in that, especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I just don’t want to be with them, and keep it down to a few times a year. My husband meets them for lunch more often, but I don’t go. And they pick lousy restaurants. No thanks, I’ll pass!
I think they are not aware. Nobody purposely places a saboteur on their own staff. I believe they know there might be some, it would be naive to think otherwise.
-- Corey is saying Kellyanne is window dressing for the RNC. --
Not sure what that means. She's been a net positive so far, a yuge net positive. Given what I think her role is, she can't do much work out of Trump's sight.
-- Corey says the RNC has sabotaged the Trump campaign!! --
Certain members are, for sure. Many of them publicly, most behind the scenes. I would not trust Priebus to "work the levers of the party's tools" in Trump's favor. I believe him when he says the party cut off funding, for example. I do not assume such cutting off is nefarious. Funds are limited, and the calculus for disbursement is complex.
Trump has pretty good instincts. On balance it'll work out, even though instincts can produce errors. He bought Trump Casino in Atlantic City. That was a mistake. He unloaded it.
Yesterday, Trump didn’t want to be the instigator of open war against the RNC. He may feel different about that today. Of the names floating around this incident, the one I trust the least is David Bosse. If I was Trump, I’d fire Bosse today, and reinstate Corey.

Saw DJT just tweeted, leaving Texas. Did he have a fundraiser here today?
That is really good advice, thank you.
I tried that last year, when I tried to get together with her. She said she was so busy with work. I said do you have time for lunch and she agreed she could do that since she needed to have lunch anyway. We had not seen eachother in a year at that point. We were together about an hour I suppose. When I got in my truck to go home, I remember saying “well, that was uncomfortable”.
You know how after seeing a true friend, you feel good, even elated or refreshed?
That was summer of 2015 when I last saw her. I have had not one email or call from her, just the initialed Christmas card.
I guess I will count my attempt at re-connecting at that lunch, as my last attempt with her.
I do wish her well. It takes 2 to be friends and she isn’t participating. Not all friends are for life. It is what it is, right?
Thanks for your thoughtful reply!
The very foul mouthed Sen. John McCain begged for my support during his primary (I gave, he won), then dropped me over locker room remarks!

Thanks, dear Diana, for your reply.
I am to the point where I’ll take a paid agitator, who openly proclaims support for our nominee, over a lying RINO!
I know...it sounds like Nehlen didn’t have the best resume, but you know what? Lyin Paul Ryan certainly doesn’t, either!!
I am SO tired of Ryan being nothing but a Dem/0bama/Hillary rubber stamp.
I appreciate your on the scene info.
One goes through an entire life, and it is rare to need your second hand to count the true friends.
