Dave Reichert is my Congresscritter. I’m mulling the phone call I intend to make. He’s never endorsed Trump, but he said over the weekend he wouldn’t be voting for him, either.
Other than that, he might be okay......
Ryan knows he is toast if Trump wins as punishment for rolling over for Barry at every turn. If he thinks they will retain control of the House, he may remain Speaker. From a standpoint of selfish political ambition, it is no surprise he us supporting Hillary (in principle if not in fact).
You gp into battle with the army you have, not the army you want. We are in a fight to keep this country out of the hands of leftists, socialists, communists, all those peddling politically correct “isms” on the rest of us, etc. Cruz for one has clearly outlined several points where Trump is clearly better than Clinton, and no one on the right has ever formed an argument on how Clinton could ever be considered the superior choice with respect to our causes. It would be ludicrous to put forth such an argument.
How do the RINOs expect the conservatives to vote for their candidates if they win the primary when they won’t back ours now? Sites like this backed McCain and Romney on election day. Democrats know how to stick together. Even though blacks don’t like same-sex marriage and other disagreements, they stick to a coalition vote on election day, which is why they win and we lose. Party loyalty is not putting politics over principles when none of the principles of any Republican have any chance of surviving in a Clinton administration.
Ryan may be an idiot but he’s for sure a #RINO weasel and should #VacateTheChair!!
True words well said
I’m convinced Ryan and the rest of the Chamber of Commerce wing of the GOP care only about passing globalist trade deals and amnesty. All the “conservative issues” we care about are simply products they sell us to get elected. They don’t actually care about any of that, which is why they prefer Hillary. They were counting on her winning to pass a “bipartisan immigration reform” as first order of business.
I always vote on Election Day (paper ballot) and will vote straight Republican ticket. This is a big deal and very hard for me. It means I will vote for the awful Marco Rubio.
But I’m scared. The last time I felt the government itself was in peril I was 19 and watched the Saturday Night Massacre and Archibald Cox..Watergate. My family was worried, all the adults I knew were worried. Of course in retrospect it seems like a walk in the park, but it was touch and go..or so it seemed. It was a crisis- but we had decent, if not perfect, people in Washington.
Now? God help us and save us from the likes of Ryan.
