Close, but even better - NOT respond to attack with any justification/explantion, but have in hand a retort that shows Clinton to be much worse in the same subject......bad language? Quote her many “F-ing” words to Secret Service and others.....sexual intimidation of women? Bill’s sexual history that she has covered, supported, and how she’s attacked women he’s used.....etc.
Should I read past the first sentence? That’s where he appears to give away his establishment agenda. “Hillary is a weak candidate” has been popping up recently. That’s the first red flag. Paul Ryan said it yesterday. That’s the second red flag.
Good sdvice, but Hillary WILL be scripted. The questions will be cherry picked by the moderators from Plants in the audience.
It occurred to me recently that there really is no need to “close the deal” until you have the counterparty at the table, pen in hand. That is the moment everything else points toward. A counterparty convinced too soon can only change their mind. One is better to have them in a position of “still considering the decision”, perhaps, than decided too soon.
Personally, I don’t think this way but I have not made ten billion closing deals. Trump has and I think some of the pearl clutchers should give him a little credit.

I'm still waiting for a Republican presidential candidate to hold up a enlarged version of a typical American pay stub and walk the audience through the weekly looting of American's hard-earned income, item by item. That looting is what enables EVERYTHING the democrats are doing. Stop the looting and you will stop them, in their tracks.
It'd only take a minute, repeated every time Trump gets up before the cameras, and the message would sink in, and people would start waking up. It's robbery, taking food right off their table and right out of the mouths of their children. OMG, a person could make such a big deal out of this. And it would resonate. Trump's lead in the polls would skyrocket. IMO. But time's running out.

And I believe it because if he wasn't, NO doubt in my mind, we'd have heard about that long ago.
My daughter is not a Trump fan, she does think he's a racist and xenophobic, however, she liked his economic plan a LOT.
She's actually reconsidering her vote I think.
If he can focus on issues like that and present good workable solutions, I think that will go much further than trying to defend himself from every conceivable lie they liberal are trying to throw at him.
Watching the last eight presidential debates i’m sure me and 6 million people thought the same thing. “I could do better than this and he should’ve said that.”
There are only 3 viable debate strategies: attack, attack, attack.
He needs to portray Hitlery as an enabler for the rapist as he did in the beginning.
No one will care about Trumps’s defense. The voters that hate Trump and those on the fence will be unconvinced by a defense. However, if people knew that Hitlery let the ambassador die so she could hide her arms smuggling from Libya to Turkey & ISIS, they might be convinced. Also bring up the Russian uranium deal when Russian DNC hacking story comes up. Clinton foundation/ play to play, Haiti, Huma and her Muslim bros, e-mails, and her “fainting” spells for crying out loud. She is such a target rich environment that time should not be spent on defense.
The moderators are so rigged that Trump cshould point out the bias and use that a a justification to talk about anything he wants whenever he wants.

Clinton, moderator, audience, and TV media will be ready to pounce. Trump’s silver bullet is to be Donald J. Trump, flaws and all. Who else would be capable to maneuver out of a tight spot like that. Make a spectacle out of the debate, and own it. Standing Order: Take the offensive, never dig in.
