So apparently, they didnt even feel the need to pretend to do a serious investigation. And, as always, congress seems to have missed that little point. >> said Chaffetz, R-Utah. They were handing out immunity deals like candy. <<
Judging by that comment, I doubt that Chaffetz missed it. Actually it sounds more like "the traitor" wasn't real smart in choosing her counsel.
One more big ugly question is looming:
Did they give immunity to the bitch?

Well, if you can't be prosecuted (via immunity) how can you possibly "expose yourself to prosecution"?If you testify outside of the parameters of the immunity granted, unless it's a blanket immunity, they will hang you out to dry...
That's why you have a lawyer sitting next to you to make sure you don't answer a question not covered by the immunity granted...
