NO; they don’t read, and they certainly wouldn’t read a newspaper.

The editors at the DMS are in the “Texas and Georgia are swing states” dreamer crowd.

Exactly. Only people with jobs read newspapers, not welfare moochers.

DMN has published editorials that directly contradict themselves.

We endorse HRC but want sound fiscal policy. We endorse HRC and believe that she understands foreign policy. We endorse HRC and support the military, and also BLM.

Remember, the Dallas police murders happened just a few blocks from Belo plaza, which is where BLM staged the protest walk that night.

Seriously, anyone who claims to support both police and leftist politicians is a double minded liar.

“I guess intelligence is not required if you run a newspaper...”

I wrote 57 articles for the local newspaper. During that time I spoke with many editors. My impression is they had an average IQ of 90 but they thought they were superior to their readers. Since then the paper has been sold many times and its readership continues to decline.

The only thing I can think of that justified, in their minds, their high opinion of themselves is that, daily, they worked in an echo chamber that reinforced their opinions and superiority. Any time I tried to offer conflicting opinions from my experience, I was brushed off with a wave and a smug smile.

Sounds like about what I suspected. That attitude is not confined to newspapers actually, I’ve seen plenty bosses who gave the outward impression they thought they were better than their employees.

The better ones are usually the ones who identify with their employees and treat them with something that resembles respect. Those who seem to think they are better than us peons are usually not well liked at all.

By the way, 90 seems to be about the average IQ over the population in general. That equates to the average person who graduated high school with about a B average.
