How is the WV ranking in EDUCATION? FL would rather spend $$ on athletics than on academics...I love homeschooling...
That’s Norfolk, Virginia NOT West Virginia!
Really I bet the basketball team is 100% black
I am sorry if I offended WV people...
Are these kids better off in our nation's godless and Marxist run propaganda factories ( misnamed “schools”) or better off getting “NOTHING”? Really, this is a serious question.
Nothing is a vacuum and a vacuum is usually filled with something.
If there were “nothing” Is it possible that charitable institutions would emerge to get these kids into learning environments that would not only teach the kids but also the parents the values they need to succeed in this life ( and eternal life)?
The government's Marxist-run schools are now so bad for our nation's children ( regardless of economic status) and our nation's continuing freedom that having “nothing” ( that is: no government schools) is now an option that all conservations should seriously consider.
2) Re: Private schools
By the way, private schools are also stuffed full to the brim with teachers who were trained by Marxists in Marxist-run colleges and universities.
My daughter taught for a year in a Catholic elementary school. She was the only teacher in the school who did not vote for Obama. When Obama was sworn in as president, her class was the **only** class to have regular class time and did not show the ceremony on the classroom TV.
Good point!
The same goes for NFL coaches.
Damn right. No individual player is bigger than the game.
The NFL: is really going to shoot itself in the foot if they don't shut this down.
I'm a lifelong Dolphins fan. For one of my earliest childhood memories, I can remember being 6 or 7 years old, and having a fight erupt in the living room between some of my uncle's Viet Nam buddies when the Cowboys beat the Dolphins in the Super Bowl.
But I'll turn my back on the NFL and its sponsors if a single Miami Dolphins player pulls any kind of stunt on the anniversary of 9/11.
Vote Trump!
Our high school had an “American-Out” at our game Friday night. All fans were encouraged to wear red, white, and blue. It is a tradition here for the game right before 9/11. It was beautiful.
Many times during the game, fanse erupted sponaneously with chants of “USA, USA”. The first time I looked around trying to find the protestors being hauled out (like at Trump rallies), but there were none. Just thousands of patriotic Americans (and crowd was over 2,000 Friday night).
I am proud of the kids and football players at our high school.
Smart young person! You will go far in life compared to your Brainwashed counter parts. Don’t forget to learn the basics of taking care of your car, cooking, home repairs and some first aid. My 40 yr old step daughter can’t even cook, but she can fix your computer or server. And she went to Private school all but her last yr in HS before college. Book smart, life not so smart.
Public school is not like it was when I went, I just turned 68 yrs young. I got in on the end of the era of duck and cover. LOL If I’d not been a book-a-holic on history I don’t think I’d have learned as much. But we were taught Civics/Government so I knew how gov’t was supposed to work.
How much turmoil and angst do you suppose there would be if white students sat, or turned their backs, or disrespected during an assembly honoring MLK during black history month in February? Would the school administration understand the rights of the students to express their deeply held beliefs? How many of those white students would be injured in a near-certain violent reprisal from offended black students?
Stop watching NFL games and don’t go to the games. Empty stadiums would speak volumes.
Won’t happen because most people don’t care.
The SJW jocks should move to a country where they would truly have something worth bitching about.
Read the latest outrage, it’s not just taking a knee, but the Black Power FIST bump
