No parent is going to give up the "pick 'em up and drop 'em off at your door" easy justification to give their kids over to (often times) young teachers that either do not have children or who have their own kids in a private school.
THAT's your job.
I'm on the local school board and believe me ... I AM ONE, BIG PAIN IN THE ASS.
Just like most people never talk politics, sex and religion ... no one discusses the damage government indoctrination does to a nation ... especially when the parent has decided they HAVE to do that or just plain justifies their action
WE need to start the conversation(s) and have data to back our opinion(s) up.
Isn't there an "INDIVISIBLE" in there somewhere?
Hey...are you Sister Mary Dolorita ?
I actually did. I found a rant that fit.
Yes, you’re correct. I just wanted to be “short and sweet.” Thanks for the correction.
Teach real history.
‘Would you like to know more?”
I just finished the new book,The burden of which is that Reagan is best understood as the son of his mother, who was a minister. While in college, Reagan drove 100 miles every weekend to teach his Sunday School class back home.
- True Reagan:
- What Made Ronald Reagan Great and Why It Matters
April 12, 2016 by James Rosebush
Reagan didnt go to church in Washington, but that was actually for the reason he gave - the security arrangements were a nightmare, and ruined the church service experience for everyone. People would sometimes want to give Reagan a Bible, but the authors job put him in position to know that Reagan had a bible and it was well worn, thank you very much. But basically, he kept his religion at a low profile while in office to minimize controversy and maximize his effectiveness in office.
That is no proof that Donald Trump is Ronald Reagan, of course - but self-righteousness is an ever-present temptation, and any Christian who does not let his left hand know what his right hand does is just naturally going to be underestimated in some church circles.
Absolutely right. Mr. Trump is no fool, and I don’t say that because of his billions (although that IS icing on the cake).
There are untold numbers of billionaires in the world, but the majority of them - wittingly or unwittingly - serve themselves or, more often, the devil himself. I know The Donald serves the God of Israel; of Abraham, Isaac and David; and the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I admire his business acumen, but look how his kids turned out! Look at all the people he’s helped when nobody else would! And as flamboyant as he otherwise seems to be, Trump NEVER seeks publicity or vain recognition for his actions to help people - people who have no way to repay him for what he’s done.
I have no doubt he’s our man.
America despising teacher’s union types will thrill to that... < /sarc >
Thanks for the clue. I just now bought the kindle version.
Could be my problem. I expect them all to be Reagan.
Ronald Reagan was the right man for that time.
Donald J Trump is the right man for this time.
thanks.
arg...sorry I left you off. See my #71
Haven’t heard much from Obama about Trump lately after he declared he wasn’t going to talk about Trump. Trump comes back at him and he clearly doesn’t like being called the worst president in history.
Thanks .. I’ll check that out.
