Giant PING List!
Buck Sexton, time to check out the competition.
I'm not a doctor but I have noticed it on several occasions...and I wasn't looking for it. The CHANGE in him is what has been noticeable.
I hope I'm way off base!
Tropical Storm watch (not warning) just imposed.
We're all ready. I have two cases of hamsters so I can continue to post if the power goes out.

Good Hump Day afternoon.
Buck Sexton is better than Rush these days.
But if Trump gets elected and is a rousing success you can bet that Rush will be posturing as a diehard Trump supporter from the very start. Just like when he (briefly) decided to jump on the immigration bandwagon as if he had always been one of us.
I thought the opposite. He seems to have trouble with names.
It only becomes a problem when you have to wear a name tag in order to remember your own.
The Maginot Line didn’t work so well. But that was French, so there.

Actually the Maginot Line worked just fine. The Germans respected it enough not to take it on directly.
The problem is that the Maginot Line didn’t extend all the way to the Channel, so the German strategy was to flank it through Belgium. But the Line itself was a powerful defensive structure and it wasn’t broached.
He will say that all along he’s believed on and has taken deriously every position Trump advanced.
Belgium and France both fell and were occupied, so actually, the Germans’ flanking strategy won.
My Dad, now 92, who fought thru Central Europe, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes with Patton’s 3 Corps, and was wounded in Bastogne in the Battle of The Bulge, once said that it was just a speedbump for the Nazis, and a waste of French time and money.
“Buck Sexton is better than Rush these days.”
I agree. I was ready to turn him off but I have been pleasantly surprised.
Age!
The Line is actually is regarded as a successful idea by military historians. It just failed for the reasons that we have been discussing. Nothing inherent in its design, just its insufficient length. But then we’ll never know how the Germans might have addressed it had it gone all the way to the Channel.
My dad, 96, was to the southeast of your father was, in a AAA unit with Patch’s HQ in 7th Army. Their line got very thin as everything was rushed north to halt the German advance.
God Bless your Dad.
