Trump camp kept this dead secret.

Rush Limbaugh was called out for his meeting with Murdoch, Ailes etc to tone down on immigration and for amnesty etc. For Limbaugh this is “I was not only sold out even Trump is sold out”

GilGil, I just read Nieto invited “both” candidates. Is Hillary going to show up at some point in time?

You and me both.

I remember 30 or so years ago that San Salvadorians were shot on sight traveling through Mexico trying to get to the United States.

Trump knows what he is doing. He knows something.

Either consult a dictionary or think about whether a dog uses a straw to drink.

Mexico is on life support now with income from drugs and remittances, both of which President Trump can cut off. Mexico must negotiate, the only question is what will Trump ask for? He needs to ask for reforms to be implemented within Mexico that will reduce the corruption and increase economic development. If they do this, they will not have to depend on immigrating here.

That may be a good approach.

Reince, Rudy and Sessions were at the Trump rally in Everett, WA tonight as “surprise guests”. I was there and it was so cool to see them in person. It’s quite possible that they attend the Mexico meeting tomorrow - perfect ones (except possibly Reince, though he has been pretty good for a while in supporting Trump).

Security is fine, once your on the ground. Several MANPADS, fired in a triangulation and it’s all over. Mexico will then blame it on the drug cartels. Then Mexico gets the benefit of getting rid of Trump and the drug cartels. Just sayin. God have mercy.

“Nieto must be seeing the writing on the wall”

That, and he’s also seeing The Wall on which the writing will appear.

Rubio has nothing to do with Mexico. He won't be a player here.

I scheduled a vacation day for November 9. Going to buy two bottles of fine wine for the wife and I to party like it’s 2017.

In May 2006 I was driving along the Gulf Coast from Tampa to New Orleans to see the country and survey the recovery from Hurricane Katrina. I spent one night at a camp grounds in Alabama. There I spoke with a Mexican house painter. He had been hired by an Atlanta contractor and was getting $4 an hour (below minimum wage). I asked him what he like about the US. Here, he said, the police are honest. I then asked him if he could get work in Mexico would he rather be there working. He said yes, that is where his wife and children. are.

yes it does. that is exactly what it means.
even if Mexico’s leaders were setting a trap, it means that they know Donald will win without some kind of intervention... and it is best to make an introduction now, and stake out a position, rather than waiting until it is too late. they must fear it is nearly too late... hence the action.

this is the first negotiation meeting and an introduction to Donald’s new “reset button” expectations for Mexico.

wow, Shrillarity was invited and turned it down?? Has that been confirmed?? That is going to look weak and small-minded for the Hildebeast if Trump can turn this encounter into something positive.....

It is possible that Trump has friends in New York, who can assure his safety down there... People who know how to make certain guarantees... who know what the stakes are... and how to drive them.

It’s possible.
