Karl Rove is just trying to stay relevant, trying to stay in the conversation, much like Bill Moyers, Al Gore, John McCain, etc.
He doesn’t have much relevant to say, but he keeps talking. Oh well, it fills newspapers.
I never trusted him.
He reminds me of one of the phony family friends from my childhood who showed up when he needed help from my parents, got the help, and then in convincing wordings he was volunteering his help to them by promising assistance with some minor work around the house, or finding the right contractor for it. Then he disappeared again for a few months. Next time when he showed up, he starts with excuses and moves on fast to switch to what kind of "real big of help" he needs this time from my parents. He remembered to pat my head sometimes saying, "Hey kid, you are good. Next time, I will bring you some present." I heard that before, and I never got a present from him. He was my godfather.
