Oh, boo-hoo-hoo! Little Cruzites crying to Big Father Jim.
Cowards.
Ted Cruz : “ I come here to praise Caesar, not to bury him, for he is an honorable man”
Ted Theo Cruz
oh yeah I forgot......LMAO !
Ping to 303
giggle, snort,chortle, guffaw : )
If that turncoat sack of fecal matter Ted Cruz were to sell his bathwater on eBay, you can be sure that large numbers of his deluded cultists would snap up those little gems, and guzzle it right on down, no doubt some of the buyers would be from right here on FR, lol
There are still a number of syndicated radio talking heads that proudly say they were for Ted until he was “trumped”
Being hopelessly obtuse is NOT a virtue, folks.
In this case, the dude not only lost the entire crowd, he lost over half his one time supporters, and committed political suicide with the speech he hoped would impale another.
It was self uglifiction to the max.
I have friends who voted for Cruz in our primary, who really disliked Trump, tell me how wrong they were, how selfish their one time favorite candidate was, and how much they were now behind Trump after the Cruz self disembowelment. They just kept saying "it was never about him, but he made it about him and his feelings. Considering how all that matters now is beating Hillary, how dare he do something that might hurt that chance." Good grief were she and her husband livid. Just one of the many stories that are showing up in the Cruz free fall in the polls.
I hoped he wouln't do that, but I predicted if he didn't change up and endorse he wouldn't be reelected dog catcher, I'm sticking to my prediction after listening to my friends. Cruz blew it more than he could have guessed.
Yep, that was a long suicide note.To be honest Cruz gives me the creeps.
The good news: He gives most everyone else the creeps too.......
Very true : )
I was a Cruz supporter for months, until I read a number of articles and various posters sent me private messages with links to his history.
If I hadn’t turned away from him then, I can’t imagine that I would have been with him after his speech at the RNC. How anyone could still be a supporter is beyond me.
I started to dislike Cruz when he came out blaming Trump for the Chicago violence, and took all the GOPe money at the end.
I still held out hope for him, that he would rebuild a good conservative place in the Senate.
Until this last crap sandwich he just served at the convention. Now I want him to lose for dog catcher.
I’m with you.
All the masks came off; now NOBODY can claim that he is what he isn’t.
Stop pimping for Cruz!
And no matter WHAT you say, you are still suspect, after posts like this one.
Nonsense, it wasn't about looks. It was more like "your wife is an unstable harpy or she wouldn't be married to you." Heidi Cruz is obviously riding the unhinged edge of sanity being married to the self styled new messiah of the world.
Did you know she was a National Security Council Director of the Western Hemisphere reporting to Condoleezza Rice, then a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, later promoted to Managing Director at Goldman Sachs?
I'd guess most people would see that Heidi was only with Teddums to be his New World Order handler to keep an eye on the bull goose loony.
You know what? Let’s assume that it was a downright insult and that it was not actually justified by Cruz’s camp slut-shaming Melania.
Does Ted have ANY idea what a Hillary presidency will do to his daughters? To himself? To his wife? To the country?
There is NO excuse for what he did last week. None. He is immature at best and infectious human waste on average.
We agree on that, and I have posted something similar more than once. I won't try to recreate my words because those posts have been deleted. I roughly said (1) Trump was out of line months ago, (2) Cruz was out of line when he did not endorse at the convention, (3) Cruz should suck it up and endorse now to save our country and our future, and (4) Trump should work to mend fences and get that endorsement. My word choice, probably in (1), offended some delicate snowflake enough that those posts were deleted and my new posts get a delay message: "Thank you for your contribution. Your comment has been submitted for review."
Reconciliation has to be a two-way street. What you are proposing seems to be only going one way.
It looks to me like Donald attempted to reconcile by giving Cruz a prime time speaking slot, but I have yet to see Cruz doing anything but doubling down on trying to bash Trump.
If I were in a similar position, why would I try to reconcile with someone who is doing nothing but trying to tear me down and shows no interest in reconciliation?
And also, while I’m going to argue with you on this point, I, at least, am not calling abuse because you’re not a never-Trump bozo like some of the posters are. So I appreciate that, even if I don’t think that your ideas are correct in this case.
I imagine Cruz is under a lot of pressure from his wife not to endorse Trump. My wife is about as cute as Trump's wife, much cuter than Heidi Cruz and never a scowl, but there have been bad pictures. My wife would stay angry forever at someone who publicized one of them to make her look bad (regardless of the events leading up to that). I know - we've been around crude/crass politicians who misbehaved toward her.
Trump is the candidate. He is facing an experienced criminal enterprise that cheated in the primaries and colluded with the media to beat Bernie. The Clinton Crime Family will now engage in widespread fraud to steal the election, still with media support. I am disgusted that Cruz won't step up, even given that Ted and Heidi find Trump distasteful, but the fact is Cruz is not doing anything. It's the candidate's job to fix problems, when the staff can't get it done. That's why I want Trump to do something. Meet with Cruz privately. Promise him a position on the Supreme Court (that's a good match for him), since the Senate would be thrilled to get rid of him, even that way.
I'm retired from polling now, but I still have access to inside information. There are enough Cruz supporters who are still not moving toward Trump that a Cruz endorsement would make a big difference. I'd like to think Trump doesn't need those votes, and that might be true. It sure would be nice. I just am unwilling to bet our country's survival on Trump's current lead being outside the margin of fraud.
