The media is not “out of touch” They are 100% in touch with the Democrat party. The media is nothing but the propaganda arm of the Democrat party. Objective journalism died a long time ago - before I was born anyway. No lie is too outrageous no distortion too unbelievable for them as long as it advances the liberal agenda of transforming the USA into a totalitarian police state with an economy to rival that of Venezuela and the personal freedom of North Korea

Oh - “Dark” - global warming is going to kill us all, the rich get more rich every day and the poor get poorer, homophobes want to stop gays from loving whomever they want and being able to earn a living - oh - “Angry” - What do we want/Dead Cops/When Do we want ‘em/Now, climate deniers should be locked up in jail, people who question gay marriage should lose their jobs....

What part of “Make America GREAT again” don’t they understand? That’s an optimistic message. All the speakers were optimistic and hopeful.
Well, actually, it translates to:
1. LESS FREE STUFF FROM TAXPAYERS TO LAZY/SELFISH PEOPLE == GOOD REASON TO BE PESSIMISTIC
2. BUT FOR THE PRODUCERS IN THIS COUNTRY, IT’S AN OPTIMISTIC MESSAGE BECAUSE THEY WILL PRODUCE MORE WHEN NOT BURDENED BY THE SOCIAL WELFARE STATE.
Criticizing the Left Socioeconomic Fascists isn’t pessimistic. It’s realistic!
