We’re at 95 and there are a couple of thunderstorms not too far off. More than likely, neither will come here but they sure have cranked up the humidity. UGH!
We wish it would cool off enough for the cats to go outside. We don’t let them out in this weather because we don’t want them to suffer heat exhaustion or heat stroke. Too many animals are taken to local vets suffering one or the other and it infuriates the vets. Infuriates me, too, if I happen to be there when one shows up.
So ours stay inside and drive us up the walls. LOL
Storms are scattered all around us but they aren’t moving much. The little movement there is is to the NW. The one to our east MIGHT move here but we aren’t holding our breath. We’d like for it to reach us, though, so our soybeans can have a drink. Their leaves are droopy.
What we need is a 2 or 3 day non-stop steady rainfall. Trees all over the place are dying. It’s been a very dry year here along with hot.
It’s 96* with a heat index of 110* , the humidity of 51%, the winds are ESE @ 5mph. Translated a typical mid summer day here in mid Mo.
That would be a little warmer than usual for late July here in NC, but the low humidity would offset the temperature, lol.

Tonight, I will be featuring Linda Ronstadt.
She is the most successful female vocalist of all time.
Ms. Ronstadt suffers from Parkinsons Disease, and is
unable to sing any longer.
She retired from her singing career in 2012.
Tonight, we shall revisit some of her greatest hits.
Yes, I know she’s a liberal moonbat, but the girl could sing!
Hope you enjoy!

Moonbat or not, there’s no arguing the gal had a set of pipes.
I didn’t know she has Parkinson’s. I just knew I hadn’t heard anything about her in quite a while.
Bring the tunes on, MS, thanks!
Great choice. Will you be programming any of her songs from "Songs of My Father"?
I'm home tonight, and next weekend will be my last for the Seattle Chamber Music Festival this season. I've attended some great concerts this year.
Bless you for being so courteous to her spirit of song.

Written by Mike Nesmith of the Monkees.
She had one of the most beautiful voices on the planet!
It is so sad this songbird can no longer sing, but she
has left us with a wonderful legacy of her career!
She was (is) a very beautiful woman!
Lots of guys had a crush on her!
LOL
Than you Sandy!
