Don’t care to watch it. Did he identify himself as a therapist?
I support our police...This shot, however. should not have been fired.
Shut up.
Of course, thy should, but then again, the police have strong unions, so there is another typical liberal talking point that unions are great, yet they will do all they can to protect the bad ones.
So what do you think happened?

Thank God he survived. And may God bless him for protecting the patient in his charge, and keeping that young man from being shot, who would not have been able to process police commands.
Yes. He laid on the ground. Held his hands up. Identified himself as a therapist and identified the other person as his patient. And got shot anyway.
To end all this crap, citizens should attend police training as part of oversight. People would be shocked that the cops in most cases are just behaving as they were told to in training.
Yes! He identified himself. The therapist was laying flat on his back with his empty hands high. He explained everything. The autistic man was sitting at the man’s feet, playing with the truck. It is clearly a truck and the man who was shot wasn’t near it.
If you won’t view the evidence, then why are you even bothering to comment on a topic of which you are willfully ignorant?
The officer made a mistake in this case. That seems clear. But with the imminent danger of assassination facing police, especially from black suspects, I am surprised we don’t see more of this.
If I were a police officer and told there was a black suspect with a gun, I would probably be quite agitated, in some fear, and far more prone to make an error.
“Shut up.”
+1
There was not a black suspect with a gun. The 911 call was about the young white man, who is autistic, and was acting strangely, and had a toy truck that some idiot mistook for a gun.
Spin what? I didn’t see anyone get shot. Just a bunch of blah, blah, blah, BS commentary from some local yokel MSM news outlet. What did I miss?
I’m asking a question not commenting
It is obvious that the officer made a mistake . . . but when it comes to deadly force, you just can’t make mistakes - no doubt the officer will be charged and lose his job.
The situation has gotten to the point where some young people that are eyeing a career in law enforcement are going to turn elsewhere - why would that want to place themselves into a ‘can’t win’ environment?
Law-abiding citizens support their heroes in blue - anarchists despise them. They are no doubt celebrating this officer’s predicament.
Thanks for the info
How could you possibly spin that video to exonerate the cop? Go ahead, be CREATIVE. You should at least be able to produce some coulda beens.
“Tough shit. Police: shoot sooner, more, and more often, please.”
Yeah, that’s the ticket you moron! Just what we need to increase the already incredibly high tension between the cops and us citizens. Not tough shit, dumb shit! Take a look in the mirror!
