These ‘delegates’ acted like a bunch of unruly teenagers.

I see Paul Manafort’s hand behind the scenese here. There’s a reason that everyone from Newt to Roger Stone hailed his addition to the Trump Team as a key success factor. Conventions are his forte, and the alliance with the RNC was brilliant strategically because as I think we see now, without it the situation would be much different. So, say what you will about Priebus, he saw the winning solution and took it.

The soiled diaper brigade got slapped down. Now they are whining about creating a disturbance on the floor at the convention. The butthurt just won’t stop.

Never Trump was about as successful as Lyn' Ted. Both spectacularly crashed and burned. Both are politically career ending.
I hope this does put to bed any further scheming by Lyn' Ted and his supporters. It's over, you lost. Get onboard Trump/Pence or Clinton.
In hope that this occurs, I will, for the second time, retire my signature "Like herpes, Lyn' Ted and his supporters can always flare up again." But, it someone wants to drag Lyn' Ted out again, I'm ready and will speak up. He lost, good riddance to him.

Speaking of Lyin’ Ted, Trumps got a pretty good ground game.

Yes, he does and he hasn’t had need to trot it out to the media or spend money wildly to accomplish it. The burn rate of the two campaigns should be a potent campaign issue. Trump lately something like $3-4 million and Clinton $50-60 million. And Trump is tied or leading in most recent polls. Clinton to pick Jeb for running mate to seal the deal on spending herself into a decisive knockout.

Thank you again for the ping!
This rules thing needed to happen.
I needed to see it happen and the nevertrump gang needed to feel it happen.
This proves these guys are
D O N E. They can puff and blow, but they can now fall in or be de-credentialed, or even removed as disruptors.

Actually the ‘stop Trump’ delegates were a distraction and prevented some good small reforms from being passed IMO.
Generally, closed primaries are good for conservatives (though they weren’t significant this year). Giving them ‘some’ more influence in early contests is generally a hurdle to the establishment forcing RINOs on the electorate.
Unbinding was an incredibly stupid idea.

Enough of the “lyin Ted” already. Trump beat him and Cruz has had his come to Trump moment as he will speak at the convention. Cruz and Sessions were the only ones there for us in the senate the last three years. He did a good job.
It will take all hands on deck to beat the bi*ch and to roll back obamaism. Cruz on the Supreme Court or in the senate will do Trump and America good.
Cruz will roll up his sleeves and fight the good fight as well as anyone in the campaign. Let the the whiny twits like Jeb and Kassich go but recognize how valuable Cruz can be in making America great and safe again.

Good. But I don’t understand the antipathy to closed primaries. Or was it because the Cuccinile (sp) wanted something in return?

I watched on an off for the 14 hours they met...it was Robert's Rules of Order on steroids...but I knew Trump hired Paul Manaford for such a time as this...I am glad to read how well greased the Trump wheels were. Kendal Unruh and Mike Lee and company looked like bunch of amateurs. In the end I think they garnered 12 or 13 of the 28 votes they needed...the Trump Tall Ship had sailed and they were left cleaning the garbage scow of Cruz, Jeb, Mittens and company. I won't miss them at all!
