I will have to agree with Lil Flower in one aspect. These hearings called by Ryan are all so much about appearances.
Ryan wants to appear tough — the questioners want to appear tough, but we have all seen Hillary and Bill dance with impunity through hearings and similar testimony. Hell, Bill’s impeachment was a miracle when you consider what has happened before and since.
Is Congress going to do anything to anyone? NO.
Now, I will agree that the longer this can be kept on the front page and on TV the more chance it has of seeping into the brain of the disinterested voter. However, disgust is not far from my mind when watching any of our Congressional wanderings.

INDEED! She was not only a classified recipient, she was the Head of the Department Responsible for Enforcing Security procedures for the entire Dept. of State. Let us clue in on that matter. She was Secretary of State of these United States of America, with the Responsibility for not only securing classified information in her personal purview, but of ensuring, as the Sec’y of State no less!, that the Department of State enforced the legal standards. She did neither. We are to believe she gets a pass because she was too incompetent to HAVE BEEN Sec’y of State, such position 0bam claims entitles her to the Presidency of these United States? ONLY if we all agree that there are and should not be, any consequences for violating the most BASIC procedures for the protection of Highly Sensitive Classified information, the discovery of which can and perhaps did lead to the deaths of American citizens and put in risk many more.
IN ADDITION, per the Director of the FBI’s statements today, there SHOULD BE SEVERE administrative penalties, so what is the present Sec of State DOING ABOUT THAT?
Presumably you are just repeating the reasoning behind the NWO, but the above statement is complete crap. We have the highest reserves of oil and most other things in history. We have the highest global agriculture production with steady linear growth. Scarcity would be a convenient excuse were it not a myth.

This is a show, put on by our “betters” to make us think they’re doing something. They’re not. It is a waste of time, our money, and quite frankly, spitting in the face of every American who obeys the law and quite frankly, every American sitting in a jail cell right now who has broke the law. If you think anything will come of one more damn hearing your fooling yourself.

This is another canard that really needs to be rebutted. First of all, it's not "our" money. Rather, it's the private property of the Federal Reserve, used under contract by the US and other nations as the standard form exchange.
Secondly, no one is paying taxes sufficient to actually finance the operations of government. Rather, the US and all developed nations use deficit spending. (Notes are purchased by the Fed Res, who credit the accounts of their borrower client states.)
If it wasn't for our guys sitting in the MENA controlling the juice, we wouldn't have a pot to piss in.
I don’t believe in IG’s. You can’t ask Departments and agencies to inspect themselves. After 36 years of federal service, I have found them to be allies of management and unwilling to be frank and honest. For the most part, they are staffed by career bureaucrats.

Really think through what you just said. How is this possibly damaging to Hillary? She just blatantly broke multiple laws and got away with it. Her husband just sealed the deal last week on a tarmac in Arizona. Blatant, in your face pay- off or threat, take your pick. Look at the deaths in Benghazi she has gotten away with. How in the hell did some “do nothing” hearings hurt her? Everyone already knows she broke the law, we didn’t need these hearings today to know this!

Valid point. But Congress isn’t going to inspect or watchdog, either. The whole government is completely and utterly corrupt. There is no fixing THIS form of government we have now.
Went back and again reviewed much of this late last night.
To be blunt, this FBI Director is f’ing pathetic. His flat out lies and evasive deception to many questions dishonored, endangered and slandered this country and the American people.
This is exactly how corrupt 3rd rate, 3rd world countries operate.
And how is setting up a private server and by extension a private network more convenient? No one asked that question but the fact is, the server is transparent to her daily email tasks.
I “feel your pain” and I mean it.
The many prior hearings have sadly not resulted in a single administration criminal indicted or even fired or even subject to deserved impeachment, which the Repub. controlled House and Senate surely could have done more of. It is appalling indeed.
Yet, it is something like death (political not physical) from a thousand cuts. These hearings have gotten out a lot of good admissions aka “sound bites” that portray HRC as she should be portrayed.
Yes, sorry there is not more, and there legitimately should be. But it is better than nothing. I for one am glad of the hearing today, and the committee made a lot of incontrovertible points. It is now recorded history at least, and sound-bites for the upcoming political season. Better than nothing, by far. We deserve better as a Nation and its citizens, but today was better than nothing, IMHO.
I have a problem with one party in the wrong, trying to correct another party in the wrong. The dems are the dirtiest and the most corrupt bunch of liars there is. I have a problem with the republicans caving... and letting them have their way. I wanted Nixon to fight it... just for that reason... that the dems had NO right to condemn him when they were worse dirty rotten scoundrels.
To me, John was a tattle tail and he sold out to try to save his hide.
