Well that tears it for me. Anyone got the 1-800 number for #dumptrump? And, it's kinda got a Christian overtone to it as well with the Tim Tebow guy. :)

Question: does the DJT Foundation have any other donors than DJT and perhaps his family? If not, the Post doesn't really have any say about the "propriety".

Technically, IRS rules prevent making a charitable contribution in exchange for anything of significant value. A football helmet signed by Tebow might have some value on the collector's market, but I doubt Trump bought it for an investment.

But if he did, the "investment" is actually owned by the DJT Foundation, and any proceeds of a sale would go back to it.

There's also a rule about not using a charity's money to satisfy a pledge. Fidelity's donor-advised fund (you contribute to the fund, and recommend grants) explicitly warn against recommending grants to someone like PBS after making a pledge. Instead, you just recommend the grant. But, I don't know if this applies to individual contributions.

Oh good, the MSM has some cover. Now the media can focus on Trump & a signed football this weekend instead of talking about Hillary’s FBI meeting or Loretta Lynch’s secret meeting with Bill.

A democrat can eat a baby, live on TV, and the news media will cheer her and tell us the infant had it coming.

A conservative can sit quietly in a church and the news media will call for his impeachment for loitering.

I’m laughing at the moron who posted that this shows Trump “stole from breast cancer research.”

Liberals are so stupid.

Gotta laugh, the WAPO’s all out effort to topple the Donald. I wish they would spend at least as 10% of the time on looking into the Clintons et.al. as they do with the 100% on Trump. I’m sure they would find a plethora of scandals. (You do know what a plethora is?)

The dog days of summer.

Getting weaker and weaker as time goes on.

Poor Washington Post, probably can’t afford any real journalists any more.

If I run a 5K race for charity, and they give me a T-shirt for participating, is that a crime?

It sounds like this is the same.

The Washington Post finds another possible Trump gum wrapper in the 10 square mile Hillary Clinton Memorial Toxic Landfill...

It's a "possible", boys! Move those mounds of Clinton toxic waste so's we can get a better look at it!

Clinton @sslamprey David A. Fahrenthold sews his own face onto the tail-end of the Hillary Clinton Human Centipede, again.

As long as they weren’t mining uranium with the helmet, the media will show interest in this story.

Wouldn’t the Trump foundation’s donors WANT him to distribute the money for good purposes, such as breast cancer?
