Your "journalist" citation proves your superficial understanding of Philippine governmental corruption

Trace that element back to its origin and discover if there are indeed multiple "journalist" deaths

Put down the Kool Ade ... you're probably a nice guy

50 "journalists" killed under Arroyo administration 2001 - 2010

Sort of a "muslim deportation"

"Of course! Because ANYONE who disagrees with you HAS to be racist!"

Do you remember when you were in Korea or Viet Nam ... and the language you predominantly heard from the GI's ?

The Philippines is over run with corruption and Duterte has a 20 year history of successful cleaning up of a city known as the murder capitol of the Philippines and is now the safest city, maybe in the world

Olongapo was safe when Marcos was in office.

I’m not talking about journalists who happened to be murdered on his watch (not that the murders of journalists in the Philippines isn’t gravely troubling!). This Nationalist-Socialist flat-out justified murdering journalists!

“Just because you’re a journalist you are not exempted from assassination, if you’re a son of a bitch.”

Well, as my GRANDFATHER said about World War II, they didn’t exactly worry about offending the people who were shooting at them. But you can be rest assured that my MOTHER who was born in the Philippines did not raise me to have such bitterness towards the Filipinos.

The irony here is that you’re the one who made so many presumptions about who I am.

Not meant to be, just an observation could probably be said of most dictators, that deal harshly with decent.

Please explain that to the 1,032 people killed there over the last five years. For a city of only 1.5 million, that's not terribly good. It has the highest murder rate (from 2010-2015) of any city in the Philippines. And the highest rape rate.

So why do people feel so safe in a city with such a high murder rate? Because they figure anyone who gets murdered has it coming to them, because the Davao Death Patrols.

What's incredible is that even if 500 of the people killed over the last ten years, and you treat those people as criminals sentenced to death, you STILL have a fairly high murder rate in Davao.

But you go ahead and applaud Communist terrorist fronts, funded by robbing innocent small business owners and narcotics trafficking. I hear the trains run on time, too.

All people have opinions and most here are identifiable ...

You have nothing but words that don't necessarily identify you, so you're open season based on your words ...

Nothing unusual ... simple inductive reasoning

But the fact you're Mestizo does play a hand in your thought processes

Wow. So a moment ago you were accusing me of being racist, now you’re invalidating my statements because I’m a Mestizo. Look who’s the racist now, you idiot.

There are opinions and there are facts. It’s a fact that crime Davao City still has a tremendously high murder rate, in spite of Duterte’s communist, narco-terrorist death squads.

But just to demonstrate how stupid your presumptions make you seem: If I were a Filipino, I would have proudly said so. But my mother’s father had been a U.S. serviceman who had lived near Manila since before WWII (except for during the war, when she lived in Hawaii while he served on a submarine). And far more recently, my parents lived in Hawaii where their entire community was Filipino because my parents are very devout Catholics and that’s who else is Catholic in Hawaii... and she had a great fondness for their warmth, spirituality and friendliness in the first place.

Not so much their food. I love the food; she... not so much.

OK, come on over bro, the water's fine. It's safe, but you knew that. Paradise Island is looking good this time of year. We can try Jack's Ridge too. 😀😃😆😄 Everyone here watched the inaguration, but I was more interested in watching the Royals and Cardinals play baseball. ⚾️🇵🇭

Ok bro. We need to go out for awhile. Who knows for sure, but I might become a statistic today. You know, it's such a dangerous place. I get scared, seeing those 5 year old kids coming at me, and giving me the evil eye. 😩 I don't know if I can handle it. You might have to rescue me. Are you up to the task? 😀😆😄😃😂😎

If Duterte were running for the US president, his stand on the issues would rival the most conservative of presidents we have ever had. Duterte is not a communist. Listen to his speech.

He was elected by the people, and these people are paying attention. They are not 100% satisfied with Duterte, but they realize he is the right choice for such a time as this.

I don’t think there is anyone who is 100% satisfied with anyone, but being as I am in Davao City, as we speak, I know what is going on. He, and others, cleaned up Davao City, which was one of the worst places to be. Now? Completely different. People should never make the mistake of believing everyone on earth thinks like Americans. I can assure you, they don’t.

Well, hell yeah. Listen to Bill Clinton’s speeches in the 1990s. Even listen to Bernie Sanders try to claim he likes Norway’s economic system (based on oil drilling, denying welfare to migrants, lower overall tax rates than the U.S., private health care) over ours, but then get all starry-eyed over Venezuela and Cuba. Socialists always pretend that they’re not so radical.

But as a matter of FACT, not opinion, Duterte’s death squads are communist narco-terrorists. That’s why I posted their flag and self-chosen name!
