I just spoke to a guy on the street yesterday. He was wearing a sandwich board advertising a psychic. Instead of preaching to him, I asked him if he’s so psychic, who’s going to win the election?
He knew exactly what I meant! He said I’m just wearing this because it’s the only work I can get. He would love to be even a dishwasher for $300 a week, which he assured me is what the Mexican dishwashers get.
I mentioned a while back another guy who wanted construction work in Harlem but they were only hiring Mexicans.
