One nice thing about Bernie running is that it's luring all the socialists who've been pretending to be "Democrats" out of the closet, into the light of day. Susan Sarandon and her like have endorsed Bernie and so has the Communist Party USA. Birds of a feather, what can one say?

The good old loyal-if-misguided Hubert Humphrey Democrats are gone forever, just like the Whigs. If Bernie gets the nomination, can we stop calling them "Democrats"? They no longer deserve such a lofty sounding title, it implies things that they no longer represent.

Let's stop calling them "Democrats" and start calling them The Neo-Socialist Party, since that is what they have become.
