IANAL. Just confused. If it’s a civil case and not a criminal one, from what does he have immunity?

The immunity is in criminal court. He would be open to a civil suit.
I believe he got transactional immunity. He could confess to the Lindbergh kidnapping and the Kennedy assassination and get away with it. But only the criminal stuff. The FBI does not want him tipping his hand. So Hillary will still not know what he knows.
This guy should have stayed home and played Dungeons and Dragons.
If Pagliano had received transactional immunity, he would not be in jeopardy of a criminal conviction and, consequently, he would not be able to invoke the Fifth.
If he gets immunity he could be forced to testify since there would be no repercussion upon him if he testifies which is what the 5th Amendment protects.

Congress is corrupt no doubt, but ultimately the fault lies at the feet of the people who keep electing these enemies of the United States into office. For example why did the people of Assachussets constantly reelect murderer Ted Kennedy for over 50 years even after he deliberately murdered Mary Jo Kopekne? I find that absolutely mind boggling.

Odd, haven’t even heard a whisper of this from the media.
The grant of immunity only applies to questions asked by the government in a criminal investigation/prosecution. It does not extend to a civil case. And the government does not have the authority to grant immunity in ancillary civil cases.
The only way he doesn’t take the 5th is in the criminal case, or if he is prosecuted for the crimes that would cause him to take the 5th, and the prosecution has concluded with acquittal or conviction.
He is pleading the fifth because he KNOWS Hillary committed crimes and he helped?
Pagliano was paid $140,000 to destroy Hillary’s email server.
If this is true, is this why he is taking the fifth? Starting to pop up on social media.
Is there any proof of the $140,000?
